For those who could not win this time: good luck for the next year. HINT: keep in mind the categories. A few good articles, dedication in the forums and contributions to the site and its users, will take you a long way towards the coveted BC members awards next year.

Congrats to all the winners .Although it is sad to see only a handfull people casted their votes here.Getting less than 26%- 27% votes and winning a category is surprising to see.

We,as a member of this board should involve more to render our voice.

Reason: Please don't quote whole of a large post... just to avoid cluttering.

Hey the panel cheated (although I am not complaining), Last time i checked i had 11 votes....

Congratulation to all.. but I must say... Veteran category can easily be replaced with best member...

also I get the feeling.. best veteran... means.. we don't want you anymore, it's time for you to reture :P

by the way crictiger, you wanna elaborate on your thoughts - it's intriguing...

p.s. Coloring scared me.... lately anytime I see red, Loser comes to mind

Since this was the first time, this poll was far from being perfect and obviously a lot to be desired. It was delightful to watch the enthusiasm.

Sami and Rubu worked very hard for this poll along with notable others. My salute to them.

Congratulations to all the participants. Without your active help and support this poll might never have seen the daylight.

And ofcourse, congratulations to the Winners.

Finally, I got to have the last laugh
Given the way I cut the onions here, nobody stands a chance to beat me should there be a category "Worst member of Banglacricket". Muahahahaha..

An honest confession?

You are the most hated, yet the one and only reliable coast guard standing tall to protect BC from all the bugs, worms and unwanted tracepassers. And oh, nothing can beat ya regarding the most number of posts in the forum. You deserve a medal in this catagory

Congrats to all the winners!

Last time I CHECKED altogether we have

14255 topics / 245012 posts / 2061 members

We have altogether 2061 members. Lets say 80% are directly involved with Bangladesh
Cricket
So it would be close to 1600 people .Also lets say 5% are inactive
members. Still we are talking about 1500 + members. And 13 vote made you Best Veteran for
2005.

Either we could not campaign more about this or our members were not interested in voting
on verious Categories mentioned here .

As we definitely, rightly missed a category for Chinaman...

It's sad you are still trying to defend yourself. Let's not assume anything and ask chinaman how many members on average actually visit the forum....

The intriguing part was your logic on why a nominee with less than 26% won a category......

Perhaps due to less number of ppl voting... the distribution probably doesn't represent the true sentiment but nevertheless I am intruigued by your conclusion that winning after getting less than 26 percentage of votes only proves not enough ppl voted??

I will let you figure out the solution...

Congrates to the winners, nominees, and those who worked hard for this award.

As this award was held for the first time the word didnot spread much. May be mentioning something in the front page with small fonts will let the members know that at the year-end there is a fun award system where they can vote.

Last but not least, thank you all the voters for participating and making it a fun-filled, successful event.
