I don't see anything wrong with that. His remark was kind of arrogant in general whic can backfire if they don't win all the way.
About not mentioning Bangladesh's name, I think its logical and understandable. last u-19 we couldn't reach to the next level. Same is true for Afro-Asia Cup.
The fans who follows bd u-19, knows that BD u-19 is playing very good now and may surprise some people. Untill then, we, the fans need to keep quite and hope the boyz do all the talking by their bat and ball.

He didnt say it directly. Plus Bd has yet to made it to the second round. So there is nothing wrong with it if he does think that way.

It is good to stay under the radar, and surprise everyone. Unfortunately, I must say india is the favorite to win it all in flying colors. I have high hopes for our team too.

Oh well, I didn't see "Ind" in the title and was thinking that BD uder 19 coach was making such comments. Why would he consider BD under 19 a threat? Did we recently show anything against them? I agree with Fazal - lets our boys do all the talking with the bat and ball

It good if they under estimate us. we will have a better chance of showing them red-white-and-blue stars circling around their heads.

This is all that he said :
Quote:
If they do progress then anything is possible and Prasad remains wary of the threat posed by several other sides in the tournament.
“Sri Lanka have got home advantage and are a very good team on the sub continent,” he said.
"Pakistan won the previous World Cup and is also good in these conditions and Australia has a very good fielding side and also good batting depth,” he added.

Please don't read too much into it.
