“Holding matches in Dhaka is subject to completing work on schedule. If the National Sports Council (NSC) can not start work on time, then it will not be possible for us to hold matches in Dhaka.

“The construction of the Fatullah ground is not finished. Similarly with the Sher-e-Bangla Stadium, if the NSC can have the contractor finish the job as per our requirement within the 15th of February, only then Dhaka can have matches.

“Our priority is getting all the five venues approved. But we can not ensure that because construction work at Fatullah and Mirpur has not finished. Unless the grounds are hundred percent complete, I don’t expect the ICC to approve them,” said Anam.

I don't think there will be any international match in Dhaka in near future as this row between BCCB and NSC will go on for a while.

As long as the International teams are willing to go outside Dhaka, then the BCB (NSC) can afford to wait longer on preparing the test venues of Dhaka.

But the problem will start if the International teams are not willing to go outside Dhaka and at best, out of Chittagong - then the real problem will start.
