Default Day 3

rafique strikes! so glad to see he denied Umar a century. Man, why was I so shortsighted in not picking my namesake in the fantasy league??

96.1 Khaled Mahmud to Shoaib Akhtar, no run, plays and misses to a quick delivery, appeal for caught behind, given not out by umpire, looks like a big nick in the hands of keeper, Akhtar survives

some action out in the middle there

96.3 Khaled Mahmud to Shoaib Akhtar, one run, edged to Bashar at first slip dropped was a sharp chance

definitely some action..

OOhhh... those 4 top-order wickets late in the day...

where is the concept of NightWatchmen ?

shouldn't we send batters like Pilot/Rafique/Koushik when the score is 20/2 and just a few overs to go? who decieds that Sujon or Dav?

Now that I am thinking about it, it was all happening so fast that Sujon, not even Dave had thought of sending in a nightwatchman.

good point say. they only played 18 overs to lose those 4 wickets. when the first 2 went down, maybe the braintrust did not have time to react. But they should have had a better plan by the time the 3rd wicket fell. Maybe Mashud as nightwatchman. But it wouldn't have mattered, Bangladesh suffers from the losing-wicket-in-pairs syndrome. At least that's what happens to the top order.
