Default Razzak may sit out second ODI due to fever

Just read on BDNews24.com that Abdur Razzak has fever and may sit out the second ODI. This would be a huge blow for the team if its really going to happen. Thinking ahead, if he does sit out, then who should be the replacement? Discuss

Not good with neither Alok nor Enamul included in the ODI squad. I'd play 3 seamers (Mash, Rasel and Rajib, NOT Reza) and keep my fingers crossed...

If Razzak sits out, another specialist bowler has to replace him. I don't think Forhad can deliver us with 10 overs when we gonna either play Shahadat who will be really expensive or Mashrafee who is not fully fit. So if Mashrafee plays, I rather go with Mashrafee-Shahadat-Rasel attack.

Default NOT Forhad

Talent: I’d say the word talent for a cricketer primarily indicates superior hand-eye coordination as well as the ability to match desire with appropriate biomechanics. For a bowler hand-eye-mind coordination specifically refers to the ability to gauge the right line and length, and to accurately deliver the ball there with appropriate torsion.

I hate to burst everybody's bubble here, but Forhad Reza = 0 (Zero) Talent = Mushfiq Babu clone. His highly questionable competence is fabricated out of a desperate need to have input match expectation, more than anything else. Mash can be gradually developed into what we're looking for. Alok, talented batsman/bowler and fielder, can take Hablu's place ASAP...

Breaks my heart. Rana would have played for Raj.

Enamul Jr. is playing in the Academy game against Srilanka. 9th through 12th. Not doing too good either.

Alok or Rajin might be the other options.

According to Bangladesherkhela, Sakib also has a groin injury. Even though it's bad news for us, it was expected as injuries are part of the game and I think we had fewer injuries in the past year. We can't always have full, fit first XI, especially after a long spell of cricket.

Enamul is currently playing in a four day match for the Academy. Even though that match is not an FC match, I wonder if it will be legal to pull him out of it to play an ODI.

If we need to pull out a bowler from the Academy, I will go for Mahmudullah Riyad. He is inform, more economic, an offspinner who adds variety to the attack, an excellent fielder, and a decent batsman.

Completely forgot about Rajin. I think he's a great choice too. But, is his bowling any good?

Is he an off-spinner? i heard in some threads that he is a Medium Pacer.. and also his profile in cricketarchieve.com suggest that..
