Bikash Ranjan Das is now Mahmudur Rahman Rana
Bikash Ranjan Das played in the first eleven in our inaugural Test against India. Since then he gradually disappeared from all media focus as well as from scorecards. Many members in this forum often wondered what happened to Bikash. But, to my surprise, it appears that Bikash Ranjan Das is now known as Mahmudur Rahman Rana. This information is evident in a sport report published in Prothom-Alo today. The sports news titled “Cricket Medhar Khoje”reported, “Among others former nation team player Shorfouddula Ibne Shohid Shoikot and Mahmudur Rahman Rana (Bikash Ranjan Das) attended this meeting of Cricketers Welfare Association”. To confirm this name (may be religion as well) change issue, I checked Cricinfo Profile of Bikash Ranjan Das. Crininfo Profiles says Bikash Ranjan Das is also known as “Rana” which supports Prothom-Alo report.
So, I guess this is it—Bikash Ranjan Das is now Mahmudur Rahman Rana and he is active organizer in Cricketers Welfare Association of Bangladesh.

Actually, this was always his real name. His Hindu name for the last few years (for as long as we've known it) was just a ruse, meant to show some people that Islam is on the march in Bangladesh, now that he has converted.
Watch out, regardless of whether you live in Chicago or in Virginia, we will have to deal with its march forward.
The 4rth fundamentalist procession (after Paki-JI-JMB) is on the move. Watch out bro Rafiq.

[Edited]
People became Muslims in the time of our ancestors so do not worry, or did you think we are of different religion man?
So would you like to wipe us out if we remain Muslim???

I fail to believe your story that a Muslim would use a Hindu-name to show he was a Hindu and Islam is on the rise. If a Muslim portrays himself as a Hindu, then he was not a Muslim in the first place. Its just does not make sense. Besides, conversion to Islam from Hinduism is nothing new, it did happen in the past and a major reason as to why most Bangladeshis are Muslims.
Hindus form a large proportion of our country's population. As far as i know, Hindu in BD represent the third largest Hindu population in the world after India and Nepal.
And about fundamentalist, there are fundamentalist in every religion and in every country, BD is not the only one. Even in India, there are pro-Hindu parties who claims India should be Hindustan (meaning land of just Hindus and no other religion), similar is the case for BD.
