didnt his brother write an article about ash in the aftermath of beating australia, and he said ash was born july 1983, making him 24 now, or nearly so, and well over 18 when he hit that century against SL.

according to the prothom alo article ash says two people who influenced him being here are his khalato bhai PONIR who took him 2 cricket grounds and stuff when other brothers of his had never played or had any interest on cricket and his coach ...

Cricinfo corrected it now,But he Player page in BC still shows the wrong Birthday,and the stats has not been updated for his last 15 innings.
BTW,the first meeting with Wahidul Gani is different there.it says

I can confirm the validity of my info.
All information are taken from the players who played alongside (side character of the story) Ashraful during his early days.
