My three reasons:

1. No player in the team knows how lucky they are to play for our team..other than Ash

2. Our players (mostly) do not really know how to play cricket..they haven't been playing enough local matches b4 they got picked for national team.they never got punished for being reckless and out of form.

Because our players have grown up playing cheap tricks. A players talent is judged based on how many 'boundaries' he can score off third class bowlers, not the actual ability to play proper cricket shots against quality ones.

Also, the Kiwis figured out our weakness against short balls. We simply don't have the altitude for 'em. We did the rest by only fishing for boundaries off every single over.
