They both should be in the squads. We can use one of them as batsman while playing Zimbabwe or Ireland and other will do wicket keeping.

i think dhiman is really good with the gloves, certainly better than rahim from what i've seen. batting wise rahim looks better, dhiman really does have an atrocious ODI batting record. for gloves dhiman takes it, for batting rahim takes it.

Dhiman looked good in the last match as an wicket keeper, but I like Mushfiq in the team (yes in all forms of cricket)!

Dhiman's keeping was simply world class in the last match and he has improved lips and bounce since his last tour in Pakistan, where he looked pretty poor with both the gloves and bat. But we are all yet to watch his batting caliber in the international scene, though his aggressive batting style and some good knocks in England tour with the A team and practice matches here in Australia impressed a lot of people. As the first match was a disaster for all the Bangladeshi batsman, therefore we can't judge Dhiman's batting from that match. He has two more matches in this series and lets see what he can do with the bat. But I would really like to see our little Mushy in the test team, especially for his batting.

Dhimmy was excellent behind the stumps & ordinary in front, in the last match.
Mushy probably needs to mature more, to come in as a btsman. That's good for him I guess

In yesterdays match,, we should forget everything that happned with our batting. You cant expect Dhiman to score any runs in a match where the highest scorer scores only 21 and Ashraful makes 5, Sakib scores 7. Dont forget how Dhiman scored in other practice matches.. His average is still better than Mushfique's when it comes to batting..just check the stats

For his keeping,, ask Ian Chappell or Tony Greig what they thought about Dhiman. They can attest his skills.

Agreed... Dhimans keeping was good, a lot of the commentating about his keeping was very positive, about him knowing where his wickets etc. His a good wicket keeper.. doesnt talk much tho..

I am slitely biased toward mushi.. his smile and his ongoing attempts to keep the teams spirits high are missed dearly (by me)!

They two looked to me same. They two are very bold with their work infront and behind the wicket. Dhiman's keeping was great last match. Australian commentators were also commenting on his skills. Some of the takes were world class.

i've always been a bit so so about mushy's chattiness tbh, if i was playing with him and he went on the way he did it would annoy me to no end, as a bowler i wouldn't be able to concentrate at all unless i learned to block him out.

the other thing about dhiman, i think sometimes his appeals are a bit strong, yeah it's good to have a strong appeal but he has to be careful not to go over the top.

it is good competition, but unless one of them steps up in the batting it's not going to be that helpful i don't think. dhiman seems to be doing a good job with the gloves which obviously should help motivate rahim to work on his glovework and get to that level or better. but what BD really needs is a good keeper batsman and neither of them are producing the goods with the bat. one of them needs to put together a string of good scores then maybe the other will step it up.

what i've never understood about BD cricket is that the national players don't often do that well so you'd expect the domestic players to see an opening in the team and think they can fill it in which case usually you'd get a player stepping it up and doing quite well but that hasn't been the case. need to learn how to take an opportunity by the horns and ride it.

I always liked mushy's enthusiasm ,I agree dhiman was really impressive at his keeping, but we need him to improve his batting, mushfiq is also improving his keeping but I'd rate dhiman better than him in keeping,Mushfiq might just get the edge for batting, but honestly I dont see mushfiq getting a chance in the national team if dhiman proves his ability with the bat.

Each national team should have 2 good WK/Batsmen, one can be utilized for Test cricket and the other for Odi's. also if one is injured, then the other can step in as in this case- Mushy injured and Dhiman getting another chance.
This is good competition. Both will work harder to improve their skills.

IMO, they have both improved a lot within the last few months.

i think dhiman has the potential to be the better keeper batsman package, but i think rahim has great potential as a batsman. i'd like to see rahim as a specialist bat in the future, don't mind him staying as a keeper batsman atm though if it's going to help improve dhiman.

Dhiman is a better keeper than Rahim. Rahim is also a good keeper but he's very short.

But I guess Rahim is a better Test batsman. He should concentrate on Test batting only.

Dhiman is a good ODI batsman. His List A stats shows that. He should bat higher than where he is now. And he should be tried as an opener as well in some matches to see if he can do well there.

Dhiman's keeping was impressive last game. His batting is still atrocious.

I think if Dhiman shows some more responsible batting performances in this series than we better keep him.
He is a good hitter but not good in a deffensive mode.

What does name hold for anyone?

Performance should be the only criteria when it comes to any national issue. Liking or disliking someone should have no bearing. I like Mushi. However, Dhiman should still have the job.
