Default National Football League 2008-09

No more free time for many. For the Bears fan there are very frustrated. Mike Ditka didn't become their head coach. Hence their winning the lombardi trophy is next to nil. This is before the season began, lol.

Preseason means nothing I know, however, no team has won the superbowl without winning one preseason games in that year. So we eliminitate two teams.

1) New England
2) Cleveland

Both 0-4. Way to go Belichick.

Colts, they are struggling. The era may end soon. Tony Dunge may retire after this year. NY Giants, well Striking gold once in a lifetime is okay, twice in a row is not happenning. J-E-T-S are so optimistic this season and I do not blame them. The have gun slinger in their backfield. A QB rating close to 90 will do this team a world of good. Win at least 9 or 10 games all the close ones.

Dallas is loaded in every position. Anything other than a superbowl would be a failure. Challenges would come from Seattle in NFC. Lions and Carolina can make noise and be the dark horses. Offense is loaded. Defense is the worry.

AFC: Pittsburgh, Jags and San Diego are the top teams. My support from this conference will fall on to the Silver and Black. Go Raiders!!

So Dallas vs Raiders (wishfull thinking) superbowl.

The real season starts tomorrow.

NE bachia galo azkey... What a game... 4 try in 2 min but KC couldn't score to tie the game...

Losing streak is still on for KC. 10 losses...

But today they played well... (just like bangladesh 2nd youngest team in NFL...)

Falcons win 34-21!!! Matt Ryan manages the game very well and throws a TD pass with is very first NFL attempt! Michael Turner rushes for a Falcons record 220 yards and Jerious Norwood rushes for another 93 yards. This Turner-Norwood combo might be one of the best in the NFL.

Dhurr, 4th quarter'a they were ready to win. 3 and out and then first ball interception. I was listening on the radio (car). Brodie Coyle is a over-rated Alabama QB. Pura akaimma, faltu. Never won anything. Not even an SEC championship.

I agree but interception ta or thekey hoy nai. beta tar agai injured hoiya futsey. by then our backup (and Main lol) QB was playing. he scored the TD right away in first try. so i guess he became cocky and threw that between two players... but still 50 sec to go 2 more tries in the red zone and shala ra score kortey parlo na. they should have ran all 4 times instead of trying to throw. after all they paying r the most to the running back. let him earn the money... dhurrr i hate our coach...

Major upsets in week 1. Indy loses to Bears. Shocker if you ask me. Chargers losing at home to Panthers was another huge upset. Losing Brady opens the door for many AFC teams. In that division Jets and Bills will give Pats a run for their money. Dallas looked impressive. We pounded the Texans. Browns await next week.

With 4 field goals Carolina wins at Chargers 26-24. Jets 10 win season looks good. May be 11 or 12. wow!! No the just played Miami.

Giants did very well against Washington. Eli had 2 attempts rushing with -1 yards and a touchdown. lol.

Hotlanta beating Detroit was a surprise. Falling behind 21 points in the first quarter was too much to overcome for the Lions. Kevin Smith had a so-so game.

Chicago deserved to win. They ran the ball well. Played very good. Good victory on the road. Colts running game needs to pick up the slack. Power is shifting as I said in the first post.

Dream start for Rookie Felix Jones (Ark) in his NFL career. 1st touch 11 yards touchdown run.
2nd touch 18 yards. 3rd touch 23 yards called back for holding. Total 9 rushes for 62 yards, 22 yard long with a touchdown. Not bad!! (Dallas)

The real deal will play tonight for the Raiders.

Felix Jones was very impressive. However, running behind that O-line is any RB's dream. I will be watching late night game tonight only to see D Mac. For some reason, I find Shanahan and Broncos annoying. Would like to see the Raiders win.

The Bears rookie RB looked like the real deal. However, can't wait to see what Adrian Petersen does tonight. He is an awesome back.

Parker had a great game yesterday. First game after the broken leg from last year ( wk 15 ), and after that, we were never same. Big Ben is becoming a great QB. He was always good, but, he is becoming great..

That Catch by Rosario at the end zone with no time left was the play of the week. Nothing can match that. ESPY nominee soon?

Denver deserved the win. I didn't watch the game but went over the play by play:

Raiders just wasn't ready. The untimly turnover (about to score at 7 yard line 1st Quarter), Horendous play calling on 3rd downs, penalties and bad defense Made it look so ugly. 41-14 Denver.

3rd and one, incomplete pass. 3rd and 17, rush up the middle. Second time I understand for 3rd and long and call for a running play cause they were backed up at their own 7 yard line. Russell had completed only 2-12 on third downs. That killed all the momentum.

D-Mac did Okay. 9 carries 49 yards. one catch for 11 yards.

+++

Aaron Rogers did good. Packers started on the right note.

Raiders are a sorry bunch. Russell will be a bust. I couldn't believe how inept they are as a franchise.

Cutler is a good one. Better than V Young and leinart, who went before him in that draft.

Vikings have no passing game. Petersen will not finish the year because of that.

Our Sadi took it to the fantasy land. Wait, you are the reason we don't have predictions this year. I was leading then one week you come up with 13-2. Unacceptable. That is when I decided not to have any more predictions.

Had the privilege to attend the FedEx sponsored party for Steelers ( they do it for other teams as well in related cities ) last night inside Heinz Field. Visited the locker room and stepped on the field. It was so quiet, yet, on Sunday's it turns into a cauldron of humanity. WR Santonio Holmes and rookie RB Rashard Mendenhall were the guests of honor.Took pix with them, had a helmet signed by them, and also took pix of the locker room. Fun fun event. Just wanted to share with fellow NFL fans..
