I'd definitely look to bring 1 of those 19yo wristies through, probably keep the current better older players while you bring the younger ones through.
My young players too increased a lot, had 2 around 4.8 to over 7k wage now (would be better if the had 8k, better players hehe).
One thing is, I'm in 3 Div 1s so no ticket price increases while other Divs have a small increase. Got to keep some money in reserve, want to keep steady investments and most of my squad.
|
Yea allrounders do have lower, but now he has fallen behind that other allrounder I pulled that year (my last year of good pulls.... well my only year).
Anyways Turbz, I am wondering if you could look at my senior squad for a sec. I'm a little lost of balance and ordering. Not entirely sure who to play as opener. Also wondering what you think of the bowling? I revealed all the skills (note that Lansing, Fraser and Mcevoy will be sold soon).

I think I am not going to buy any senior players this season. Invest some money in my academies and sell off any decent youth pulls. Plan is to increase my bank balance.

I think Seshan would go well as an opener.
Looking at your last match, Naran did well there. Order looks good, would be tempted to move 1 of your allrounders up the order, maybe Mashud to #5 or #6 and put a batsman (Hill) at #7 with Akib #8. I'd have Naran on strength now so maybe he could move to #4.
I don't have a set batting lineup, like to throw around a bit depending who is in form and what I feel is good that day.
Bowling is solid, really missing a fast or wrist spin bowler as your #1 (3 RFS is far from ideal). I'd look to get some strength training on 1 or 2 seamers to average at least at outstanding primaries. All in all looks a good balance, would be nice to get a couple of good youths coming through a few years younger than your main bunch.

My wages are at 124 k. Will go down quite a bit though as I am selling a lot of players and I like to keep small squads. YA is up to Lavish now Not bad, ehh ? Too bad dont have decent youths to make that worth it. Hoping for atleast 1 good pull this new season.
Anyone willing to sell a FS at 20-22 years old? Budget is upto 250 k. And also anyone interested in selling decent youth batsmen? Like 17 [atleast reasonable/average] or 18 [capable/reasonable] ? Budget will depend.

Increasing the Mentals' Stadium seating capacity to 15,000 from next week Wednesday. Hope it helps us get more gate money and not run so dry all the time man!

any suggestion what to train next? I am torn between fielding and endurance. Training fielding takes ages at older age (target is accom). On the other hand endurance and power is too low. And power will make him a better batsman.

What levels are the rest of your players in terms of fielding? I would just do fielding first, and alternate with endurance. Low fielding might hurt you.

I would have gotten Lansing but that wage will kill me. I really have to get access to a computer at the right time if I want decent enough players. The deadlines are all usually at bad times for me. I have the money but cant buy a single decent player :@

I wouldn't worry too much on getting fielding as high on all-rounders, would be a lower priority for me. I would get his endurance up first at he looks like a decent first choice player as capable endurance doesn't go too far playing twice a week at 25 especially for bowler who can bat, accomplished would be enough then expert at 26. Then go fielding before some power?
