Default Game On

All WI players have ended their strike.

Now this is going to be a big opportunity for the pumped up BD team. If we can still manage the ODI series, we can shut up the critics.

So, game on, lets see what we can do.

If only we had Mash for this series . He would have rolled through both West Indies sides, the national team and the second team. Hopefully Shakib's, Raqib's, Mushfiq's and Riyad's good form with bat/ball and keeping goes on to the ODI series. If that's the case, I say bring on whoever you want to face us, it doesn't matter!!!

Default West Indies Players End Strike (Good or Bad for BD?)

Link:

http://www.cricinfo.com/westindies/c...ry/415828.html

Is it Good or Bad for Us?

I think Good, at least no contrversy will be created, whatever the result.

Bad in sense, the series will be difficult for us.

its bad for our players. now they have to make a nother plan. in 2 days time wi team changing like a unproffeshional way. its not our fault wi main team didnt play with us. now they are back. so our players are confused...so its not good for our cricket. but still we will win against them...good luck bangladesh.

it's good, better opposition means better experience for the players for the future, plus if BD wants to be respected in world cricket then they need to be able to beat and compete with good quality opposition.

the tour seriously was planned by the almighty himself, it just gets better. A couple of wins in the next 4 games[including T20] and the whole world will be talking about BD. Remember England lost the series in Windies, so they are a good team at home.
Plus, due to this ' jhogra jhati' between the board nd players, all eyes will b on the game, and if BD pulls off another win or two......will be amazing.

good.........bangladesh could win the series with 3-0, and with zimbabwe 5-0. so total runing 8 match win. it would change totally bangladeshi cricket. now its difficult.

bad..........for wi drama, our players are confused...now they have to make nother plan, in very short time. i dont care who is playing and who is not. but we should know before the series. not from runing series. which not good for our players..

still bangladesh gona win, atleast 1 match.

Why do you think they are confused

They went to WI planning on the main team, so they just have to revert to original plans only. Confidence of having won two practice test matches are now bonus. They should be in much better situation than they originally planned before the series.

Yes I would love to see Wi provided we make changes in team. We need MORE batting power and ashraful MUST be OUT. He cant be in the team we need more all rounders, rubel cant bat crap, shahdat knows to block . Shakib must keep his cool.

Mash hardly rolls through any team. He can keep it tight. If some one can roll through the opponent line up, that's Shakib at the moment.

Yes, things can definitely change. I think WI gonna include some of their main XI in the series. They can't just throw away the "weaker players" after their contribution in crucial time. We may end up seeing a "mix team" with players from main WI XI and strong performers of test series like Roach, Dowlin, Sammy, Bernard playing in ODI series.

Last 3 series:
beat zim- 2-1
trination - lost final to lanka (beat them once should have won the final)
nz- 2-1 ( should hv won the series)

we have a good chance against the wi?

In ODIs that we won against top 8 teams, it's generally Mashrafe that took out top order batsmen and opened up the rest of the batting order to his fellow bowlers. Sakib is still not that effective in ODI (in wicket taking).

Our players have warmed up well in the Test series, Windies main team on the other hand are not in their best shape. If we are to beat Windies (main team), this should be our best chance. Beating them, even in a single match, at their home, will mean a lot for Bangladesh, lot more than winning a series against a second string side.

WOW! I just went to sleep last night, and the news broke out minutes after I went off. Crikey!......Soooooo, we need the main WI team; coz enough of boogie-woogie competition, now time for real test. C'mon WICB, you know you want your best players to play. Not being unfair to the team that played the tests but they should understand as well, it's more important for their team to win against 'MINNOWS' BD than just them getting a sniff of Int. ODIs.

নির্লজ্জ অর্থলোভী চশমখোর গুলো তাহলে খেলতে নামছে?
