Default If you found a bag of Million dollars, Would you keep it?

Rupchand Sohel inspired me to have to this poll. What would you do?

It is not only Rupchand. Sporadically there are news of Bangladeshi cab drivers returning millions of dollars. (ie antique chello, bag of money etc etc). Is it the case of honest up brining, fear of authority or a lack of intelligence?

No one would keep it. Either they will spent it on themselves or others. Orphy slipping?

Always easy come easy go.

No Ima take it to my nearest police station so that I can get one of those stupid 99c medal for role model citizen, while the cops go on to spend on lapdance in the nearest stripclub in LA.

To quote from the movie Training Day: "Someone obviously didn't sleep through Ethics in high school."

Mijan bhai, not everyone is as honest or as clever as you are Million dollars is a lot of money to be found. It is not 10 bucks....

anyways the question inherently asks whether you would make an attempt to track the owner or not. If you found 10 bucks... ofcourse you would spend it or give to a fokir or whatever... but i think a million dollars totally changes the scenario.

If it was some insignificant amount like $1k or something, I'd try to return it.

But $1m, no way... I'm keepin' it buried in my backyard.

1) Chorer mon police police. Ranna ghorey kay ray? Ami khacchi na.

2) Orphy himself? Really? Is that a marketing ploy?

Finding out who the owner is should be in the criteria.

you found your own bag of millions?? lol

jokes apart, you bring up a valid point. If it was your bag of millions, you would want some honest person to find it and return it to you. So does your conscience make you do the right thing..... but then you would always be poor. :P

If someone loses a million $ and I happen to find it, I'd keep it away from him out of general principle. The idiot who lost the money shouldnt be trusted with a dime!

reminds me of a famous joke:

this famous author goes to the bar and sees this beautiful girl. He walk up to her and asks "would you sleep with me if I bought you drinks"?
She was shocked and replied "what do you think I am a prostitute?"
The author then asks, "well, would you sleep with me if I gave you a million dollars"
The girl goes, "a million dollars to just to have sex, ofcourse"
The author: "Well now that we've established you are a prostitute, let's bargain up a price"

Oddly enough, getting inspired from silly things, I've asked my once upon a time girlfriend the same question.
Her reply was: "for one time only? yeah probably, but I will close my eyes and not enjoy it, it will be like work"
So being the jealous freak that I am, I started beating the crap out of her...and then she is like
"but I would only do it for you. it will be your money"

stupid girls falling for our trick...they only think they got tricks and we are habas.
