AP Top 25 How comic this ranking is. Boise at #5 lol. Ole Miss, Call and Penn St. all lost to unranked opponents. Ole missed dropped 16 spots, Cal dropped 17 spots yet Penn St dropped only 9 spots? Not only that, Iowa jumped to 13 from no where? Oregon to 16 and South Carolina still not ranked? Yet South Carolina took down the highest ranked last week.
For Iowa, we will see how good they are when Michigan visit in two week time. They at badger's town, and visiting spartans back to back.

Miami sneaks one in. Gets Oklahoma late. Dawgs lost one which they should have won. Arkansas's defense finally shows up. Auburn coming up real fast.

LOL really? That's how you are going to say Miami won? "Sneaks one in?" Nothing about the young defense shutting out the mighty Sooner offense repeatedly? Nothing about the young offense showing incredible resiliency against the impenetrable OK defense? Miami was the better team tonight - no questions asked. We should have had more points on the board, though ... we made some stupid calls. And don't even get me started on the refs and some of those BS calls....
Just came back from the game. The Swag is BACK. The U is back.

That celebration penalty against the best WR in the country, AJ Green, was absolutely ridiculous.

Well Dawgs deserved to lose last weekend and they did. But to Tennessee? I had an easy W beside that. O well. 2008 preseason #1 team out of the Top 25 ranking for good? How things can change in matters of weeks and years.
Auburn went home crying. All that smack talk on their fan website got stuffed.
Over rated SC plays another cupcake Irish. I am impressed with Iowa's run. However, they I think will go 3-3 from here on out. Texas will be tested this weekend. Com'on Ok'lahoma. Beat the hell out of them.

Pitt-Rutgers Friday. If we can get a win, we may crack the Top 25. Now keeping the fingers crossed.

Yes, they had been doing well so far.
Does Arkansas have any chance at Gainesville? I don't think so. The only hope we have is Michigan losing to Div II school (or something like that). Florida don't need a blitz to sack Mallet. Their pass rush is that good. If Mallet has some time watch out though. I think if he can make some decent # of 3rd down passes we will keep it close. Florida by 2 touchdown at least.

We beat Rutgers on the back of super freshman phenom RB, Neon Dion Lewis! The RB lineage at PITT continues : Tony Dorsett, Curvin Richards, Craig "Iron Head", Curtis Martin, LeSean McCoy and now Dion lewis..

I hope you saw those SEC'S REFS job Arkansas, it was pathetic. You should thank your Kicker too & Bobby Petrino's stupid playcalling but The refs were the main reason why you guys lost
ND/SC was good too Claussen is tough QB took alot of hits but made the Throws, too bad his reciever slipped on the final play.

Yes, very unfortunate. 1st BCS poll this year: Bowl Champ. Series * Florida * Alabama * Texas * Boise St. * Cincinnati * Iowa * USC * TCU * LSU * Miami (FL) * Oregon * Georgia Tech * Penn St. * Virginia Tech * Oklahoma St. * BYU * Houston * Utah * Ohio St. * Pittsburgh * Wisconsin * Arizona * West Virginia * South Carolina * Kansas Cupcake Boise will take a BCS spot for sure; now the question is are they going to embarrass themselves at the title game or not. This is just messed up!! If texas falls in any of the next two games, Bama or Gators will lose at least one...

Right you are. Alex Tahada is a scholarship kicker who has range but no accuracy. That sucks. But I blame the the coach's play calling and the QB Mallet. In every game so far he has at least thrown three passes over his wide open receivers. Every single game. Sometimes having a big arm can backfire.
It is a Bama-Gator SEC championship already set. And both will remain undefeated and one will represent SEC.

Iowa got a big win at Wisconsin. I didn't think they could pull this off. They will stumble in the right time, mark my words. That is their recent past history except that rose bowl run.
Bowl Champ. Series

PITT cracked the top 25. Glad about that.
The Florida-Arkansas game was a con job by the refs. I caught some of that game. Its a shame the way the calls went for Florida.

Better late than never.
SEC suspends Florida-Arkansas crew
http://rivals.yahoo.com/ncaa/footbal...v=ap&type=lgns
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AP)—The Southeastern Conference has suspended officials from last weekend’s Arkansas-Florida game after the crew was involved in its second controversial call of the year.
Referee Marc Curles’ crew called a personal foul on Arkansas defensive lineman Malcolm Sheppard in the fourth quarter as the Gators were rallying for a 23-20 victory. The league said there was no video evidence to support the call.
The same group of officials called the LSU-Georgia game earlier this month, which included a late unsportsmanlike conduct penalty the league said shouldn’t have been called.
The SEC says the crew will be removed from its scheduled assignment this weekend and will not be assigned to officiate as a crew until Nov. 14.
The league said the crew’s bowl assignments could also be impacted.

At end of the day the $$$ counts. Had Florida lost that game, they would have fallen behind USC and Texas. In the SEC championship most likely they would beat Bama who then unbeaten would fall behind SC and Texas also. No SEC representation in the National Championship game. This bowl game system is a hoot.

Well Well what did we have this week?
Bama, Gators, USC, Iowa all escaped narrowly. TCU jumped Boise. TTech, Miami, Kansas lost at home. BYU should be out of the rankings for now. Auburn going the wrong way. Cincy holding strong at #5? Beamer smile. Pitt won big time.
