@Asif bhaia you have a superiq of 20,000, you went to MIT, but why did you put wrong spelling in BCAntie's tweet?
@NW: Thanks for clarifying it. Guess some people don't have any better things to do than follow national player's lives up to the second.

Just recalled that spell from Shakib where he was toying with Taylor in NZ and eventually got him stumped. That over was just magnificent.
I want that Shakib(as a bowler) back!

Shakib lost his number 1 all-rounder ranking to Kallis today. He doesn't look in form I mean all this T20 has had an affect oh him.

Just read some of those replies on the bottom. Sure JQK is all time best. But that doesn't mean Shakib isn't good. Someone show those mofos some stats

Dilscoop, let us answer them with Shakib's next performance.
Come on, Shakib! Terrorize the folks from the Caribbean and get all the rum from them.
Like Habib bhai, I want him to out score his previous HS and a 5 fer. Please!

^ then they will be all ... "It came against the Windies. They can't plat spin. It was at home, bet he can't do that away"
Too bad he's already performed big time on the road, and I highly doubt anyone knows about those figures.

I think some posters on twitter was right in regards to comparing shakib and Kallis due to ICC rankings. Jacques is already a legend and shakib to be compared to him it is sort of embrassing at the moment. J. Kallis is a living legend and he is the ultimate goal for all the all-rounders. However, As being a BD Fan, Inshallah Shakib will achieve better things in his career and try to score half of the runs that Kallis has Scored: ODI (11,498) Half ( 5,749), Test (12,837) Half (6418). He should easily reach those targets and go beyond it, I really hope.

Shakib Should Reach 5,749 runs in 60 ODI @ His Average 35.63 (ODI Very Doable)
Shakib Should Reach 6,418 runs in approx 133 Test Match @ His Average 35.12 ( Very Hard to Reach)

Someone should also explain to those morons that kallis is almost done with his carreer thus had plenty of time to get to where he is today. Where as shakib is just begining his carreer and still has 10-15 years left in him. Comparing Shakib to Kallis is a no brainer!
Obviously shakib is no where close to what kallis has achieved but looking at things he might not be too far (or might even be par/overtake) kallis on most of the stats once shakib retires- beside test cricket ofcorse cause we all know how the rest of the world don't bother playing test matches with us!!!

Ranking isn't comparing. It determines the current state of players' skills and orders them. I have seen people in BC take that ranking way too far and call out JK. And I've also seen non-BD fans take this as joke because Shakib is just a new kid on the block and he shouldn't be ahead of JK. I think it's time cricket fans learn what Ranking really is. Because I've only seen this happen in cricket.
For ex. NO Saints fans aren't going nuts tonight because a backup QB- Colin Kaepernick was ahead of Drew Brees in power ranking this week, just because he did good tonight. They know who's better and who was better this week.
Another ex of why I find cricket so laughable compared to other sports.

If this was another case of MJ-Kobe / Kobe-LBJ talk, I'd understand. But it's about ranking! Really?

A old Kallis (37) at his age is still competiting with a young shakib (25). I wonder what Kallis would have done if Both Kallis and Shakib were at the same age. Bravo to Kallis, and Shakib should just play his normal game.

However, I am afraid Sakib has himself forgotten that he is an allrounder. I mean I don't think he is even trying to improve his bowling anymore. It's a shame really because IMO he used to be one of the best spinners in world cricket. Even people from other forums agreed on that. However it seems like the man himself just doesn't care anymore how he bowls.

Yeah I agree .. Looks like he is not putting any emphasize on his bowling.. It could be a team decision as he doesn't bowl that many overs nowadays.. He is given the ball only when runs are leaking or when the other spinner is tired... I think it has something to do with his knee injury.. Team doesn't want to over use him so he is concentrating more on his batting than bowling..

Well if that's the case, then why is he being used as the 2nd spinner? If they don't want to overwork him then don't you think they would put Sunny in so that he would be used as the 3rd spinner and then he could bat at #3/4? It seems team management is still thinking of him as an allrounder as he's batting at #5 and being used as the 2nd option as the spinner.
