There were talks of it: http://www.banglacricket.com/alochon...postcount=1649
Tamim pledged to respond with his bat, but instead did so with his wicket.

Mushy's batting has improved my miles, there were times when he used to get starts then get out,but these days he is getting fifties regularly, specially in Test, I'm hoping to see him getting a hundred in intrntnl cricket pretty soon.

Wow BD24 does write with poison pen. Team thekey "churey" phelbey - what type of journalism is that?
Thanks for the link. The news seems sensational, I wonder if BD24 will follow up with the last closng statement: ঘটনার সত্যতা যাচাইয়ের জন্য মোস্তফা কামালের ফোনে যোগাযোগ করা হলে তিনি উত্তর দেননি। পাকিস্তানের বিপক্ষে সিরিজ শেষ হলে বিষয়টি তিনি দেখবেন বলে জানিয়ে সংযোগ বিচ্ছিন্ন করেন।

Mushy is finally coming up as a confident batsman ... was really struggling to meet the expectations after 2007 WC.

Mushy has proved that he can be a solid #4 for us in ODIs. That was a position that's been a problem for a long time. Ash was way too inconsistent and Rock was not versatile enough in his scoring in ODIs. Mushy is both consistent and is very versatile in scoring. As you said, he needs to convert his 50s in to more 100s in Tests. That should be his next goal for 2012. Hopefully he also takes the gloves off in Tests. He can stay as a wicketkeeper in ODIs. Let Dhiman handle the gloves.

Mushfiqur had a very good time with the bat post-world cup, with an average of 40.54 in 14 innings.
