Rain stops play

SL wins the game as per the D/L method.

Ntini would have bowled much better and they could restrict the lankans within 250. Ntini have good records against Lankans in SA. He is also too good of a bowler in his home condition.

It was a poor decision from SA team management to play Parnel instead of Ntini. Now they paid the price. It is not 20/20.

Experts on CI agree with Murad

Quote:
Rob: "South Africa have been hammered in this match. Their fielding was lazy, they bowled pooly, and their batting was even worse. They need to make some changes. First of all, Ntini should replace Parnell. He is South Africa's most experienced bowler and he deserves a chance. Robin Peterson should come in for Botha because he adds some stability to the batting line up, and hopefully Gibbs will be fit to replace Amla."

Batting under lights. centurion is known for getting easy in the second innings but not under the lights

Well Ntini might play in the next game so would Gibbs.

Amla is a make shift opener. That is not his natural place. He rotates the strike and much better in the middle order. But those spots are taken.

Good work Murad for for having Dilshan in the lineup.

Well done to Sri Lanka on their victory. Ajantha Mendis picked up the vital wickets of Graeme Smith, Jacques Kallis and JP Duminy. Great effort from Mendis taking the wickets of three capable match winners.

300 in the first innings are ok. But dont think that successful chase of 300 will be done very randomly. Lets see.

Yes, you are missing Morkel brothers and also Bravo half-brothers, . But they are irregulars like BD brothers.

Openers are gone. I wish Misbah was sent instead of MoYo.
