Eshen bhai, I feel that for a lot of people, trying to understand T20 is more of a stubborn refusal as opposed to struggling to understand the format.

what lovely team strategy!! He tries to defend that this format is not slog yet he mentions:

For example, in the first IPL, we at Kolkata Knight Riders gave Brendon McCullum the license to go berserk in the first six, while the batsman at the other end was supposed to make sure McCullum got majority of the strike. If McCullum got out, the team would send another hitter, and a grafter in case the other batsman lost his wicket.

Which is another word of 'go slog McCullum'.

it's not the format that's culpable rather the lack of understanding/preparation for the game and of the pitch that should be blamed. Truth be told there can be good test matches and bad test matches, good ODIs and bad ODIs, good T20s n bad T20s. Those who watched any part of the recently concluded test between India and Srilanka, ok maybe excluding the first session of the first day, will know what I'm talking about. Watching two sessions on day 4 was one of the painstaking experiences I'd endured this month and with every passing minute my belief grew stronger that what I was watching was absolutely garbage. The only purpose, if any, the match will serve is boost avgs of players like Mahela and Tendulkar, with all due respect, on a lifeless pitch. Down the road when it's all said and done, while the context will be forgotten and the statistics will remain, it'll only offer fodder to the claims of supporters of Mahela and Tendu that they're as great as Bradman himself. It's not the format guyz there are bigger issues at stake here.
