tamim, musfiq, sakib are in good touch, just need to apply
ash's eid didnt show up for a long time, so it might come again.

I am not happy with Eids. I have cardiac problems and too much joy and sorrow may make its condition even worse. Rather I would like to see some well composed innings like the one Riyad played today. Less excitement, more comfort and reliability and better cardiac condition.

Wow! the way indian staffers at CI are writing as if india has already won. Here's a wake up call:

• They just barely finished at even par with us.
• Now they are in for a 90-over a day kind of situation against us. The gap between the two teams is more likely to be a non-factor is such situations
• Their foul mouth skipper is already out to a loose shot.
• Their batting burden is carried presently by a spinner-night watchman !
• 2 days to go.
• We have a far better bowling attack than india.
• Thanks to their baldy beeru, they have added on huge amount of extra pressure on themselves. We've already proven beeru dead wrong.

We have no reason to lose heart. Our players have not. Why should we?

Despite our poor bttng & almost nothing from the top & mddle order we still managed to get 242.
With some good innings from the top & some good contribution in the mddle & a strong lower order assured by Mushy & Ryad we will get there.

winning is going to be tough, unless we restrict them to a lead of 300 or so tops. mabe 350. but that is unlikely. what we need to do is get mishra out ASAP, and then get to work on dravid, tendulkar, laxman.

as the pitch is good, india will need a total of 400 before thinking of declaring, so we have ample time to get our maiden 20 wicket haul. but we need to do it cheaply. if we can cut the scoring opportunities, we can put ourselves in a great opportunity to draw this match.

Bangladeshi pitches are traditionally pretty funny in that they don't seem to crack open on the fourth/fifth days - at least not as much as traditional subcontinent surfaces. In fact they flatten out quite a bit. But a win from here will be very difficult. Not impossible, but extremely difficult.
