  • Now they are in for a 90-over a day kind of situation against us. The gap between the two teams is more likely to be a non-factor is such situations
  • Their foul mouth skipper is already out to a loose shot.
  • Their batting burden is carried presently by a spinner-night watchman !
  • 2 days to go.
  • We have a far better bowling attack than india.
  • Thanks to their baldy beeru, they have added on huge amount of extra pressure on themselves. We've already proven beeru dead wrong.
We have no reason to lose heart. Our players have not. Why should we?

How have you proven him wrong ? He said you can't take 20 wickets ...so until you do that, he is right. BD has taken 11 wickets for 360 odd runs so far.

Its only been three days !!!!! I know India are bad but dont underestimate your team this way. If BD were to get 20 wickets within 3 days that would be a huge drubbing for India. I am afraid you need to wait another 15 years to see that from Bangladesh. However if you show a bit more patience and wait unil the 4th day to end you will see all 20 wickets being taken.

It is not impossible to win the match; but for that we must and must win the first session today by a big marhin. We need to induce a collapse in their middle order in this session, with that we must also have a hold on their runrate all through. Then hopefully we can start batting early in the last session today. once we do that there is a good chance, because it is a typical chittagong mirpur typr wicket where the fifth day is the best one for batting.

Difficult; to tell the truth, india is a very good batting team, tendulkar and gamvir's wicket will be the key. India's bowling is .... pretty "ordinary" though. however, our batsman can't afford to throw their wicket once again. we need to win all the five sessions remaining.

Dude, I was saying the same thing. Sehwag has NOT been proven wrong yet. If BD takes 20 wickets, he will be proven wrong.

and then there are days like today when you wanna slap ever single one of them. the young and the grown. how do you lose games like our u19 lost today?

How do you go from 0 to 3 wickets in a couple of runs. how can you not take a wicket in 20-30 overs?

and to all those people that wanted the ex icl-ers back, I am going to say shut up, after SN's performance in the second inning. Ash should probably retire as well.

Looking at what happened at U-19 today and 2 days ago - I can't think of any BD win here either. Batting most of the time destroyed our hope and it is again batting that is about to do the same. The way the batsmen played in the 1st innings shows how immatured they are. They appeared to forget all they did against NZ - building partnership session by session - where is that now? They are chasing 414 in the 2nd innings now - it looks impossible to me given the standard of BD batsmen. SN just now unnecessarily gave a catch to the slip which was dropped!! However, Hope, Faith, Passion these are all there in mind, so no harm in believing - it lets me enjoy my time following them. I'm with you guys with unsure but high hope.

Take a chill pill bro.

Chasing 414 runs on 4th innings does not happen in test everyday (I think the number of time it did happen is below 10). I don't see any chance.

I am an optimist, truly. I know this is difficult but not impossible. At least we can try to bat through the day and it will be our victory.

During the last Eid (real Eid, not Ash-Eid )I didn't have moments to laugh. Hope Ash brings some smile in my face.

Dear Rubu
Inshallah history will be re-written here. Let us pray and let them play. Still a 50-50 game.

The fate of this match will be decided in the morning session.

If Tamim and Ashraful can form a good partnership and remain unbeaten at lunch, anything is possible.

At this moment this Test has only two possible results ...an India win or a hard faught draw.

Same here. For some strange reason, I am also feeling that we will win. কি জানি, আকাশ কুসুম কল্পনা করতে আজকাল বড় ভাল লাগে।

Has any team ever scored 348 runs on the 5th day of a Test match (reagrdless of the outcome)? I am curious.

I am actually surprised how pessimistic people are about a BD win tomorrow. 348 from 540 deliveries
Ashraful my boy, just do it one more time, just this time. We all know what you are capable of

If we can stay 5 down at tea ... only then we can be wishful for a win, till then just play hard for a draw.
