Why is our team is poor in T20?

Bangladesh has lost the last 10 T20 internationals. They won only against in the T20 WC 07. That was all. This are some of my reasons for poor T20 performance:

1) Key players benching in IPL
2) Our bowlers are not masters in bowling in depth bowling
3) Our players dont get chance to play in IPL, Big Bash, Standard Bank T20, County and not even in the recent Zimbabwe T20 tournament
4) We do not host T20 internationals
5) We dont have enough big hitters, only Aftab and Mash can hit it big. Tamim can hit sixes but not the big ones. Shakib can hit big sixes with the slog sweep but does not do it now
5) Our domestic T20 tournament sucks, PCL is too bad
6) No sepetate team for T20.

If dont keep up with the new format, we will never become no 1 in any format. We need to develop these areas.

There are only few big hitters. and most of the guys fail against bouncer

in test cricket our players wants to hit one 6 every session

in odi our players wants to hit one 6 every over

in t20 our players wants to hit six 6 every ball

well, we should not concentrate on t20... lets get our Test and Odi act together t20 will automically adjust

think they should definitely use the format to give some young guys experience to make them a bit more ready when they're selected for ODI and test cricket.

Not enough T20 bashes. BCB does not care, they send a team for WC20/20 just to receive the money
ICC doles out to them and the boys have a good holiday. If they had to fight for a place like the Associates, they will be much better players, because they will have to play at their best to fight for a few spots, e.g ireland, Afghanistan.
Now, if BCB does not care, why should the players?It is all in the attitude
The PCL should give some kind of practice and national players should be selected especially the squad of 30 players who have been selected.This will help to whittle it down to the final 15.

hello boss and female ceos, i want to know how i can create a poll in my threads. i have some interestingly fascniatings good concept to improve our cricketing brilliant minds, can u give some tips on how i createing polls in my thread. also any tips on having a spell checkers i am too lazy, going back and deleting and correcting the incorrect spellers

After the PCL, Siddons should have a tight training camp for at least 7 days before they leave for the West Indies and about 4 teams should play 20/20s against each other.
Their fielding and catching sucks, and Siddons should teach them how to hit the balls long and hard.
Also, the bowling is precarious at the moment and any bad bowling will be thrashed.

Because we don't have Aftab, Kapali and SN in our T20 squad. When we did we made it to the super 8s in the world cup!

Even our U-19 team can defeat ou national team without SN, Aftab, Ash and Alok. What's the use of going to the T20 WC, as if going like empty pocketed to a supermarket. Tamim could do welll in T20 but he has never scored much in T20. BD can only dream of scoring 200 when even IPL teams can easily do it.

I thought that Aftab and Kapali is in the squad of 30. Nafees is no good as a 20/20 player, he will waste all the balls.

No Aftab and Kapali in the 30 men squad!
That's surprising! Then why they are trying Aftab in ODIs and Tests? No concrete plan from the selectors.

I'm not so sure Siddons knows how to teach how to properly free your arms. I site our poor T20 and misuse of ODI batting powerplay to defend that statement.

I wish the board, coach and players would treat this format with more respect as this is one format where we really didn't need to play catch up in.

The countdown to the T20 WC will begin and our team does not even know the meaning of T20, we have never scored more than once a plus 160 score. Why dont we put the cricket team in the SA games into the action

Squad: Shakib Al Hasan, Mushfiqur Rahim, Mashrafe Mortaza, Mohammad Ashraful, Tamim Iqbal, Imrul Kayes, Junaid Siddique, Mahmudullah, Naeem Islam, Shahadat Hossain Abdur Razzak, Rubel Hossain, Shafiul Islam, Syed Rasel, Aftab Ahmed, Alok Kopali, Nazmul Hossain, Dolar Mahmud, Mahbubul Alam, Faisal Hossain, Mithun Ali, Shamsur Rahman, Mohammed Sohrawordi, Nazmul Hossain Milon, Jahirul Islam, Nasir Hossain, Rony Talukder, Robiul Islam, Mohammad Elias and Alauddin Babu

Aftab and Alok names are there, and I am pretty sure that they will be included in the final squad of 15. All depends how they perform in the PCL, but I think that Alauddin Babu has a fair chance here.
IMO, Mash is not a 20/20 bowler and he cannot bowl in the death overs, he is not even capable of scoring 25 valusble runs, scared to face the balls. They have a great choice of players here.

still can't believe sabbir rahman wasn't included in that 30 man prelim squad, he has the perfect style of game for t20 and he's been performing.

They are in the preliminary squad. I meant we have been poor so far because players like them weren't in the last T20 World Cup.
