I agree! 53 of 30 balls with 8 wickets in hand should be done 9 times out of 10 ...

I always knew we are gonna loose... how many times have we crumbled under pressure this year? I can recall test matches against India and NewZealand, then ofcourese the first ODI against England and the test match. Any other professional team like Australia or South Africa would have won from such situations but not Bangladesh!

I was expecting a loss going into the game, but Shakib and Ashraful did exceed expectations with the bat. The approach was eerily right - rotate, build and hit out once settled. That's how T20s should be played. Not expecting Ash to replicate this performance in the near future though (knowing his style) - if he does, it'll be a bonus.

But we lost it when we gave away 15-20 runs too many. The bowling was beyond embarrassing. They looked like club bowlers who were simply running in and delivering without a thought. Utter rubbish.

we lost--- why?

1. needed aftab in top batting order
2. batting order should be according to situation.
when we need 30 out of 14 balls----- dont send mushfiq or ramiz raza or guru sinha type batsman--thats suicide.

mahmudullah was another waste in top order--20/20 line up.

ash played superb, so is shakib

Oh Nayeem! Do you understand its not Zimbabwe. You cant hit unless you are gifted some juicy balls. This is not first time you screwed in similiar situation

We are simply not good enough. our players may be talented but other teams players are better than us

i still think the quality of our players are far behind than the top 8 teams.....we are better off competing against Ireland, Zimbabwe and Afghanistan...chances of these team winning against us is far more higher than us beating the top 8 teams...16 matches with no win against the top 8 teams this year

If you look at our Academy team and A team performance....u will see we lack quality big time....we need better batting and bowling coach...and better coaching system starting from U-13 level

It's not so much the loss that hurts, but the lack of tooth in pretty much all departments. I don't expect this team to win anything - and that's where the problem is. We should have been better than this by now, but we effectively took a few steps backwards from the time we played in the '07 world cup. This team can't win s**t and I'm beginning to think we need a new coach after 2011.

I think we'll have to wait until a whole new generation of players show up to be able to hit the #5/#6 spot in the rankings. Maybe the twelve-year-olds of today will do it for us. This group is just bridging the gap between the past and the future.

our problem was trying to hit the big shot too many times when the requirement was like 50 off 25....because that either entailed outs or dots....you CANNOT afford to have dots at the end of innings...instead of trying to launch it out of the park players should've attemped to hit fours through gaps...this is an art we are yet to master.

For those hiding behind the "experience" BS. Watch the Afghan's and the Irish and what they can do IF they get to play in the top level for FIVE years. We had 10, not much has changed. Ash still gets out the same way, the rest of the team carries this looks of Dispair after one or two bad overs. The body language need to change before this team can even dream of being competitive on a consistent basis. The Pakistanis looked like us for couple of overs before they realized that they have world class bowlers to pull them through. If Sami hadn't reminded them who they were, this match could have been ours.

True, we should have won. Our bowling was completely plan-less sans Shafiul and Shakib. I shoul;d have sorted that out by now.

I still cant fathom the PLAN behind picking Shuvo when he needed a hard hitting batsmen.

Some of the BD batsmen need to LEARN from AFGHAN's on how to look at your bigger opponents as just another guy batting and bowling at you. They seem to get flustered by the big names sometimes.

Btw: The way some of the players looked vs Amir (Who's gonna e a real good one) and Sami (Not so good)

No Chance vs Australia

Razzak Out, Shuvo out

Rasel and Aftab in

^^^ Selecting Shuvo is the worst decision among other bad ones.

Alok Kapali.

No firepower after number 4. That was the problem last time and it is again the problem. Imrul won't be able to handle the pace so spare him the humiliation and open with either Naeem or Mushy. Aftab at 6 or 7.

Kapali instead of Shuvo and Aftab instead of Imrul (or an injured Tamim) would have changed the batting order so much.

Bowling as it is is so toothless that teams would struggle to post under 150 against us even if they tried. I've had more than enough of Razzak. Only does well when it does not matter. He'll get whacked vs Australia. Get Aftab in for him, and put him at NO.5 after Sakib. Team as it stands is not capable of anything.
