Nice to see Saqlain and Shuvo on that list. I think these two need to get some games against NZ. Shuvo should open alongside Tamim and Saqlain should get a game as the specialist spinner.

This is a group of cricketers who will be considered for A team or National team and who did not have enough cricket in England trip. They will work on their technical limitations in this off season. Previous-U19 players who did well were already called up for training in GP Cricket Academy (24 players in total). Players like Imrul, Tamim, Riyad, Zunaed, Mash, Razzaq etc. had busy cricket months before and required a long rest before the preparation for NZ trip starts. Hope you guys will cool down and appreciate this effort! Thanks.

Raqib should be an auto choice against NZ,he seriously needs to play all these matches before World Cup,good to see NAeem there.
Don't know abt Ash,if he his picked vs NZ/ZIM but if he fais will the selectors drop him from world cup squad?

This bunch with some automatic choices are going to play BD for Newzealand series and possibly no outsider will get any chance in further series before world cup.

Shuvashis Roy deserves a place there. He was in contention with Robiul and Shabiul to get natl call up.
And we will not get service of Shuvagoto Hom soon.

READ people! It's a CONDITIONING camp. It's mainly for the players that are not in the national squad, and not playing atm, or just unfit and fat! e.g Kapali. Why should Riyad be there?

If any thing Aftab should be there. But I guess that they didn't want to waste a spot on a player like him. One lazy SOB, who will never improve.

I thought they all retired. Why punishing them now? BCB is not thinking of bringing them back, are they?

Focus on bowlers

BCB call up 21 cricketers

Quote:
"Basically the board arranged the camp for the players who were out of the national team and as well as players like Mohammad Ashraful who didn't play enough match in the last few tours," said former national captain Mahmud.
Does he not know Ashraful is in UK?

Quote:
"We will mainly focus on the fitness but work on the skill as well, especially with the bowlers. Our bowling has been struggling in the last couple of series and I believe this was because of the inexperience.
"We have to work hard for a long period of time to improve the bowling. All the bowlers are talented but they haven't had enough international experience to cope up with the pressure," he said adding that the preparation camp for the national cricketers is likely to start from August 20.
So the others will join soon apart from Shakib

Quote:
BCB's cricket operations committee chairman Enayet Hossain Siraj informed yesterday that they will take a decision on the probables after the return of coach Jamie Siddons, who is enjoying a vacation in Australia.
Here comes the anti-Siddons.
