Russia 2018, Qatar 2022
Link to goal.com article
Overall the world of internet doesnt seem happy with the choices cuz I only go to websites in english with european/north american viewers.....hehe...
despite all the ghush kelenkaris, I still think it was time for Middle East to have a WC. The quality of football in the region might not be as high as europe or latin america, but the spirit & love for the game is of the same level if not more. Europe might have the best facilities and infrastructure for football but that certainly doesnt make football their property. Football is the whole world's sport and I support Fifa choosing Russia & Qatar (maybe 2026 can be Australia).
WC in Russia will give them an opportunity to showcase to the world, what they have achieved since the Cold War and I am sure they'll do a fantastic job.
and WC in Qatar, for once, might unite the middle-east.....

I'm all for the Middle East joining or whatever but Qatar over USA is kind of ridiculous.

Damnit, no USA?
Now the question is, who else is going to Russia in 2018?

Qatar probably bought votes...
Anyways its a shame that it will be held in a country where ticket holders are stopped from entering while non ticket holders are allowed entry simply because of their race, and this is in FIFA friendlies...

Two risky World Cups back to back. Don't know what FIFA are thinking. Bidding process needs to be much more transparent because clearly the strength of the bids had very little to do with the decision. How can England get only two votes and get eliminated in the first round? Why were there 4 votes for Holland-Belgium in the first round and then it turned to two in the second round? Voting needs to be open so that members can be accountable for their decisions. I don't know how many of you know this but right before D-Day BBC Panorama (a whistle-blowing program here in the UK) aired video footage alleging two FIFA voting members of corruption. I am confident this influenced FIFA's decision. FIFA needs to be cleaned up and that moron Blatter needs to be booted out.
