However this report has a glaring mistake in the first paragraph.

All-rounder Shakib Al Hasan finished on top of the one-day international wicket-takers chart with his 46 scalps. The left-arm spinner became the first Bangladeshi to complete the feat after yet another productive year.

The reporter must be new to cricket. because in 2006:

They played many more matches than the others. WPM would be a better stat for such appreciation. Hope these guys can get the highest wickets in world cup.

Dont do a S Rajesh there buddy.
They were good enough to get all those wickets, simple as that.
If they werent, doesnt matter how many matches they would have played, it would still make no difference.

In our Sunday's report titled 'Shakib top ODI wicket-taker', it was written that the left-arm spinner became the first Bangladeshi to complete the feat.
In fact, paceman Mashrafe Bin Mortaza had earlier done it in 2006 with his 49 wickets
