Still don't understand why Chris Gayle was't picked. Just this morning he smashed someone for 32 runs in an over.

kallis and haddin are automatic choice...i guess the 3rd spot may be filled with morgan...shakib will probably fill the 4th spot..kkr are lacking quality spinners..shakib have to fight with breat lee for that #4 spot

Shakib being an alrounder will hold the edge against any other foreign player besides Kallis... Having two altrounders who are also top order batsman will allow KKR a lot of felxibility so i think he would get his opportunities....

Won't England be busy at the time of IPL? In that case Morgan will be no competitor to Shakib.

He surely will be in playing 11.

Gayle: May be it was a request from WI Board.

Morgan can't bowl .
Shakib is the only quality spinner :
kallis + haddin + Shakib : automatic choice .
Fourth spot : lee\ rtd

Morgan can't bowl? That's your back-up? Have you seen him bat? He is a beast, an innovator. And Lee will be an auto choice, he is their only decent paceman. Kallis-Haddin-Lee will be starting almost every time.

And can we stop judging our players based on ODI records for a sec. And once we do, just look at their T20 stats. Not good at all. We are still very new to this. We've failed to adjust to the format yet. No question I would buy Shakib and Tamim for an ODI team. But this ain't ODI. I can't risk them. They are yet to prove themselves in T20.

I don't know why KKR needed to buy Haddin. I thought a local wicket keeper would have freed up a slot for either one foreign batter or bowler which is more useful in my opinion. In T-20 u can get away with okayish keepers just like Mumbai did in the last IPL.
Haddin is a good player but is he as distructive as Gilchrist, Macullum, Boucher? He is averaging 19 at 111 strike rate, but since he is the keeper KKR would now have to chose between Lee/Shakib/Morgan...
