Our batsmen can play well as long as they have the confidence that the lower order can support them. Look at West Indies today, they were set to reach 270 but ended up with 222 only. Tamim needs to play the way he played against India and take it further, cannot expect boundaries from naeem and riyad. Smith opened and played a slow innings because he did not want to expose the weak lower order of SA too early today (Botha, Peterson, Fuf)

If we drop Riyad and Naeem, we will have following bowlers:
1. Rubel
2. Mashrafee (if Shafiul not playing)

4. Razzak
5. Ashraful

If Ash is NOT selected, then we will need Shuvo instead.
