India ODI tour in June???
The old FTP had this tour of 3 ODIs scheduled for June. Since all 10 teams have agreed to retain the old FTP till 2020, this tour should be on theoretically. Lets keep this thread for confirmation of what happens.
Papon said he got 4 tours from BCCI in writing, this being one of them. He mentioned that no such written agreements were obtained from CA or ECB, but that they had "agreed on principle" to tour. CSA chief Nanzani also made similar statements that all sides had agreed on retaining the existing FTP till 2020. On this subject, it was also reported by cricinfo a few weeks ago that the CA is preparing to open up Darwin and Cairns for off season winter tours of non-G8 sides. Obviously thats BD and/or ZIM. So again, indirect confirmation of what Papon said after the ICC restructuring meeting in February.
If this tour goes ahead, India will likely send a weakened side as the following ODI players will be sent to England immediately after the IPL to prepare for their 5 Test series in England:
Dhoni
Dhawan
Rohit
Kohli
Jadeja
Ashwin
Shami
Bhuvi

"But the scheduling of IPL and India's tour of England over June-September for five Tests, five ODIs and one T20I may shelve the tour. "
Okay - it says may shelve - not definite. My bad.

Hmm...was Papon lying about the legally binding deal from India? Is the 2016 tour to India a mirage?
So new FTP meeting this week in Dhaka...looks like it may be finalized at that time. 3 ODI tour can be played in 5 days, so perhaps India will come as they've been pretty forthright about touring Bangladesh in the past.
Just checked CI...first England-India Test stats on July 9, so their first tour match will likely be middle of June. IPL ends May 30. There is a 2 week window to squeeze in 3 ODIs.

Nope, they'll all play. If they aren't, they won't be spending their time in England either, probably just chill out at home.

As far as I know, BCB is trying to arrange 3 ODI matches with India in Bangladesh. India tour is prolly gonna happen at the end of 2015 WC.

Lol...You are talking as if India is like associate team and we are superior to them. India is ranked 2 in ODI ranking and we are ranked 9. Haven't you read what Shakib said. If India/Pakistan is 100 then we are 30-40.

At least we could beat india. There is aways a chance when we play against them but no chance against Pakistan.

It was legally binding when votes were bought. Is it legally binding now?

"Further progress with regards to India's ODI tour of Bangladesh in June was made during the ICC's two-day board meeting in Dubai. While a tour in Bangladesh this June as per the Future Tours Programme was always on the cards, a re-confirmation was received in Dubai. "
