We should win to shut up Tony Cozier!!! Did any of you guys watch the half-time and pre-match show on star cricket in the Ireland game....Tony Cozier was belittling us as if we are no entity and unworthy of playing cricket even against Ireland....!

DO you remeber their names? Are they national team members? Are their names by any chance, Rubel and Mithun? I am in connection with RAB-4 in Dhaka and looking through the report log doc. right now....I need to know if you read anything about any national cricketers being investigated. Thank you dear EspnBhai, we need to get to the bottom of it.
no probs.

i could only see the headline of the thread in bangla "dui bangladeshi cricketers goyendar nojore".
by the time i got to click on it the thread was deleted by the mod.

would be great if you some how manage to find the details of it.

Sarwan & Chanderpaul, are used to playing in slow pitch in Guyana. They are very hard to dislodge.
Pollard, if we can take first 5 wickets cheaply (within 30 overs), he will not be a problem. Otherwise, he is a bluster.
Sammy & Benn, are a late order slogger, can cause serious dent to a bowler.
they do have a strong batting line-up
but INSHA-ALLAH! we will overcome them

No, it was during Razzak's over when the ball clipped the batsman's pad and beat Mushfiq and reached the boundary, the one in which Mushfiq appealed for the leg before, but Razzak didn't.

David Loyd and Athar were having a good bit of fun about this kid in the commentary box.

Tony Cozier didn't say anything stupid, and he has always been some sort of a BD fan.

Don't understand the problem with the clip, it seems like good fun!

The reaction of the little boy in the gallery is priceless.

My biggest worry is Gayle, Darren Bravo, Sarwan and chanderpaul. Any of these guys are capable of playing match winning knocks.

Look how Srilanka played today. They never gave up until the end. At the end, they were trying to win an improbable game, and they almost did. The key to win is to believe in yourself. Our players need to have this spirit. Don't give up, just fight as if this is your last match.

My lineup would be like this:
Tamim Iqbal
Shahriar Nafees
Mahmudullah
Mushfiqur Rahim
Raqibul Hasan
Shakib Al Hasan
Naeem Islam (as a specialist batsman and part-timer who can bowl 2-5 overs per game)
Sohrawadi Shuvo
Nazmul Hossain
Rubel Hossain
Shafiul Islam

Out:Imrul Kayes, Junaid Siddiqui, Abdur Razzak, Ashrafool
In: Shahriar Nafees, Mahmudullah, Sohrawadi, Nazmul

I would go with the winning combination.

Mohammad Ashraful: He needs lots of confidence. we should support him.

if he is really confident Allah willing, he can get back his 2007-2008 form back!( and eventually become our PowerPlay Wonder Boy/Bangladeshi version of Yusuf Pathan)

his short stint with the ball should give him hope

I totally agree with Ian Pont's idea of using three seamers every match. but for the next match,

*) I am reluctant to break the winning combination and give those out of form players one more chance

**) Most Likely, West Indies will struggle against spin.

***) would have preferred to have Shahriar Nafees in the lineup, but oh well...

the only two batsmen you have to worry about is Sarwan and Chanderpaul, others are weak or not patient enough against spin.
