Nazmul should come in for Shaf and even Abul for Rajib. Rajib sucks.

don't remember who said it but one of our batsman said after the win vs Ind that we need to get 100s because it's not everyday that 4-5 players will get 50s.
|
I think Jahurul Islam said it. He said what differentiates the very good teams from the decent ones is the ability of their top order to convert 50s to 100s on a regular basis. No longer can we be satisfied with the fact that our batsmen scored multiple 50s in a tournament!

I disagree, we have a higher chance as our players are all PUMPED up. Add to that SL has injuries, loss of form and tiredness. BD on the other hand has form and HOME SUPPORT
SL has to face 12 BDeshi not just 11

All the best in the match against SL, though am an Ind supporter, I don't want the All-time worst bowling attack to be playing again. Make BCCI to sack all bowlers, please win against SL.
BD seems a bit different, maybe the change in attitude, I hope they improve on it and don't go back to old ways. Win SL then beat Pak, you will be called minnows no more.

Bangladesh are to face 11 Lankans, 2 field umpires and 1 tv umpire.
Those extra 3 could make all the difference.

It's a pressure situation and yes this is 1 of their biggest tests of all. We have always been the whipping boys of the subcontinent and never have been even close against the other teams in the Asia Cup and now we're 1 win away from being in the finals which would be a huge deal.
I wouldn't say that SL are the favorites by a hundred miles though. Yes on paper they are but on current form I would say they're not. They've played matches non stop and are getting tired and injured. So they're not the obvious favorites against us like they usually are. That being said though, we still have to win against them which isn't an easy task and our buys are going to have to play good cricket in order to beat them. Now is the time to show if our boys have turned in to men finally. We always ask this question after a win but many times they've proved that their still boys. Can they prove their men this time around? We shall see.

After scoring 99 100s, Sachin takes extra day to practice...
I'm glad India won. Don't look for the easy way out. Your gotta earn it.

Expecting a performance completely on the other end of the spectrum. I hope I'm wrong but not too encouraged by how most of the team has been relaxing after the win. But I liked what Law had to say, the win is indeed pointless if we don't use it to spur us on to achieve greater things.
My XI:
Tamim
Nazim
Jahirul
Shakib
Riyad
Mushfiq
Nasir
Mashrafe

Mahela & Dilshan are the main threat.
but not to forget Sanga,Tharanga who have been scooring a lot, Chandimal hasn't scored in the last 3 ODIs I guess so he will be low in confidence.
MAlinga is the only threatening bowler.

Form of Sri Lank does not matter. They have to so many player who can single handed screw us over. We have to focus on our own game and think that winning the game is the only acceptable outcome.
We beat them before, we can do it again.

I think we are overrating Sri lanka, they are not as good as India or pakistan, hey have lost 12 series straight in a row including 4-1 against Pakistan and losing to Australia at home. They are good but not THAT good that we have to be intimidated by them.. just like Mushy didn't show too much respect to India we shouldn't show too much respect to any team, it just creates unnecessary fear. They might be better than us but we can surely beat them. None of their batsmen have outstanding records in odi like Indian batsmen do and same with their bowlers compared to pakistan.. they only have one very good bowler in malinga.

if we can beat a team with sachin, kohli, dhoni then I am sorry dilshan, mahela, sanga are not as good as them so we have nothing to worry about. We CAN and should beat their best team.

They should watch footage of how they ran through half the side for less than 10 runs and draw inspiration from that! There's no Murali to save them this time!
