অবশেষে ভারত সফরের দরজা খুলছে বাংলাদেশ ক্রিকেট দলের জন্য! সেই সফর হতে পারে এ বছর ডিসেম্বরে। বিসিসিআইয়ের আমন্ত্রণে বর্তমানে ভারত সফর করছেন বিসিবির সভাপতি আ হ ম মুস্তফা কামাল। পোশাকি কারণ আইপিএল। তবে বহুল আলোচিত ভারত সফরের দিনক্ষণ ঠিক করাও একটা উদ্দেশ্য। ভারতীয় বোর্ডের সভাপতি এন শ্রীনিবাসনের সঙ্গে কামালের ইতিবাচক আলোচনাই হয়েছে বলে জানিয়েছে সূত্র।

ডিসেম্বরের শেষ সপ্তাহ ও জানুয়ারির প্রথম সপ্তাহে ভারতের কোনো আন্তর্জাতিক সূচি নেই। নভেম্বর-ডিসেম্বরে অনুষ্ঠেয় ওয়েস্ট ইন্ডিজের বিপক্ষে বাংলাদেশ দলের হোম সিরিজ কিছুটা এগিয়ে এনে ওই ফাঁকা সময়েই ভারত সফরের জন্য ভাবা হচ্ছে। এ ব্যাপারে জানতে চাইলে কাল চেন্নাই থেকে টেলিফোনে মুস্তফা কামাল বলেছেন, ‘বলার মতো কিছুই এখনো হয়নি। তবে আমরা এ বছরই ভারত সফর করব ইনশাল্লাহ।'

Kudos to Lotus Kamal if he can somehow convince BCCI to arrange an invitation to Bangladesh to play cricket there. When was the last time Bangladesh toured India? Champions Trophy 2006?

I don't like this obsession. It has almost reached to a state of begging for an invitation.... What's so precious there? What are we going to achieve in terms of cricket, by visiting India?? Otherwise they are tigers at home, so why do we need to visit there??

The other reason India could invite us is to get shewag back in form.
Anyway, a win win situation for Loitta. Go ahead with the Pakistan tour, he becomes ICC president. Don't go ahead- India invites us, for which will claim the credit forever.
