Rangpur Riders are riding on Nasir pretty much. On paper they arent strong compared to the rest of the other teams in the comp but luckily they purchased Nasir or they could be struggling.

Shamsur is a decent but with a good technique. I would put him ahead of Mehrab in terms of potential. Mehrab looks shaky with his stance.

Nasir needs to bat at 3 or 4 but I really like this Chittagong young wicket-keeper who is he? could be a prospect.

I think its about the desi players getting accustomed to facing good 140k+ bowlers. Shamsur looked to be struggling early on against Tait but i forgive him because he perhaps isnt used to that kind of pace

Shamsur Rahman thought he won the MoM. Did not come forward to collect his most six prize.

Not being too critical. Nasir is certainly a real talent but if he worked solely on strength work on his arms then he would have a much higher strike rate. He eyes the ball well but i think his strength lets him down sometimes. Sometimes he hits the ball which should go for six but doesn't.

I agree. He needs to bulk up. He's got small arms.

Perhaps is ok. But Sha Chow was just atrocious about his technique and it was kind of humiliating as one time he was saying Nasir is senior to Shamsur. I could not decide whether to laugh or cry.
His CricInfo Profile:
Quote:
Nicknamed Shuvo, he was the leading run-scorer in the one-day competition for Dhaka Division that season. He was in good touch the following season as well, where he averaged 67 against South Africa A.
|
The Tait ball that started all these fallacious commentary was the one of 143KPH in between 2 135+ deliveries of the first 3 of probably the 3rd over of Tait's spell. But, Sha Chow better know that he showed his mettle against Tsotsobe and Philander in South Africa surpassing many of the more cherished team mates.
Link.

I agree as well, Nasir should gain a bit of muscle so his shots will click effortlessly. He doesn't wear the sleeve shirt under his jersey anymore lost his coolness a bit fashion wise.

Strength isn't overrated, but sometimes timing is all that's needed. Case in point: Nasir's flick off Liddle that went for six sans follow-through. Shoopreme.
