The Dhaka leg of the tournament might be broadcasted, chances of the matches in Sylhet being shown are very slim.

Shakib to miss the opening match of the tournament due to personal reasons! Sorry to say but you can't call this professionalism, FGS he's the captain of a side and even after missing the whole Challenge Series now he is again on leave. The fault is on BCB's part too, what's the point of this tournament if they are ready giving leave to anyone asking for it without valid reasons? Now the floodgate has opened, won't be surprised if other key players follow suit.

Shakib is acting like the "BOSS" and can take days off whenever he wants to!
And, BCB seems clueless how to handle Shakib!!

What Shakib is doing? - he is just shortening his career being a lazy. A cricketer's life is not that long and he should utilize the scope he has to be a better cricketer IMHO.

Totally agree. Why does a player need 12 days leave for his brother's wedding. I guess 2-3 days are enough. In USA even if someone's parent dies we get 3 days "mourn leave". These kind of leave is unacceptable.

Shakib seems to have got more than what he could dream.. fame...respect..love.. money.. being a contemporary cricketer in our poor country, it is tough to retain the same passion and attitude. however i think his other half is also playing part for his this attitude towards game.. All i could remember he was very serious about his game.. but still we don't know what is the actual cause for his delay/laziness, so we should not comment more on this.

yeah he seemed very motivated, focused, determined and committed in his early days coming up and learning his cricket, the change of attitude is a little disheartening as he could achieve so much more than he already has if he was to remain focused on the game. i understand a wife changes your life, but many cricketers have wives and partners and kids, they still find a way to be focused and successful.

So no live score? Strange. CI is not covering the list A match, no coverage from BCB as well I guess.

And Shakib is not playing the 1st match? You kidding! Everything is getting very easy I guess. Come on BCB!

In the picture the boundary rope looks so much inside. I am not sure if the ground is too big or they want a shorter playing area for more runs.

Tamim won the toss and decided to bat. UCB BCB to bat first.
