Zaved miya (BK) is in my heart. He don't need recognition. He is way above all of us. Too good to be in a list of fazils and pongta polapains.

Old in tradition and experience. New in thinking, innovation, and design.

i'm never surprised by Doc...the deterministic conclusion i've reached from my research is Doc is an android, he just does a very good job blending in with the human race.

Another person from back then: TheWatcher. His analysis of the game and comments were brilliant. He had a very short stay here though.

I spotted Kana-Baba having posted something today as well. He's an old face, I love his Unmad avatar.

There were dotball, nihi among these as well...heck we along with faceoff, and few others can't remember now...we used to have BC get together back (2004/5/6) then in Dallas, TX

Time flies...it feels like just yesterday we used to do those...

You nailed it Orphy. That was a the A team. We discuss each and everything. There was no feedback in cricinfo then. I was a graduate student who have spare time at the beginning of phd research but does not have any one who share same passion as him with regards to cricket. While one weekend shopping online I saw a link titled banglacricket. I still do not know who is this person who linked his online shop to banglacricket. I larked somedays and I think I feel the urge on commenting something on "Forget Cricket" - then it is history. Then 'Forget cricket' was really interesting - probably still the best "non-sports section" on any cricket form. There were some great posters like Dawah, Vladmamu, Puck, Shad who opened my mind and make me curious on many issues outside sports. In the cricket section there was Shuvo,Sham (Rubu and I had many fight with him regarding Kapali), Spitfirex86 (we were leaders in anti-golla brigade), Face-off, Miraz who joined later. There was Babubangla, Orphy to entertain us. DJ, Ian, James were there to revitalize us when we were down (and that was year 2014 for all the time)
My best moments in banglacricket
1. that night of 2007 when we beat India
2. the day some of us try to broadcast Bangladesh match through soapcast
3. beating NZ after ICL saga
4. batting for Mushy in 2007 with Miraz when faruq and co drop pilot
Just checked that I have spent a decade in Banglacricket and I was a member of Banglacricket when we beat Aussi in england but could not remember what I was doing

Sorry for the late reminder. I skid past 10 years here in BC just a week ago.

Thanks to everyone being patient with me at times. My self hiatus did not work and I am glad about that.

If I start mentioning nicks it will not be able to cover everyone. But, I believe everybody who were with me will recall this glorious time we went through and more to come. Those moments when we had those rare wins starting at Cardiff, ending in recently concluded PAK series and all those facepalm moments and all those bickering for ruing our chances, every single ball they played we played many, every single ball they bowled we bowled plenty.

Long live Banglacricket.com.

Never in my wildest dream I would have thought in 10 years I would be posting 27,000+ post here.

I know I have one more month left but most likely I wouldn't be posting much during that time. Leaving for BD inshallah Sunday. Returning in July.

Wow!!this thread is still golden. IF it wasn't for the time travel, I could not have stumble upon it. I was reading from the 1st page and looks like there was some interesting members.

I have completed 6 years in this forum a couple months ago.
