Focus on World T20 Qualifying Round

Asia Cup is done and dusted. We need to get moving. World T20 is very important and we should not be relaxed in the qualifying round.

Nasir should be in the team. Primarily because I think he will be difficult to play for the associates.

Rest day tomorrow
Tuesday-training and game plan
Wednasday- game day. It's also starts early. Afternoon game so have to make use of the Tuesday training. Very little time. Hope we don't mess it up against Netherlands

Timely thread. I'm not even bothered Asia cup was a good ride we never been a good t20 side but seem to have suddenly found a new leaf in the T20 format. But let's go forward.

Matches will be more tough than @ home. Different conditions, different ground. Not having a good feeling about this round.

Green tracks part of Bangladesh prep for World T20 matches in Dharamsala

Bangladesh in the past year have changed their focus from spin to pace. Under coach Chandika Hathurusingha and bowling coach Heath Streak, the focus has been on grooming young pace bowlers.

No has mentioned mustaf will be back. For all Al Amins success in t20s, he bowls some garbage at the death, most sometimes. Mustafiz our true death bowler, on wickets that grips he will be unplayable.

Wicket will not be gripping but he's still the best bowler at death (and one of the best in the World).

It will benefit us more than other teams in the group as our batsman aren't great in bowling friendly pitches. Our bowlers are skilful (thanks to Musta, Amin and Taskin) to do well at the death regardless of the condition so FLAT pitch will blessing in disguise for us imho

With the team scheduled to reach Dharamsala today evening, they will have an entire day to get accustomed to the slightly chilly conditions there. The practice matches that have already taken place there indicated that there was a bit of grass on the wickets, which is something that the Tigers will have to be prepared for.

"Against Zimbabwe in the daytime it didn't quite do as much. We are playing on pretty good wickets but when the lights come on and the dew comes, the ball starts to skid on quite nicely to the bat. I think there's going to be some pretty exciting games to come."

I would let Mustafiz sit out the matches against Netherlands and Oman, rest of the team should be able to pull of those wins. Use him only against Ireland, and hopefully he will fully recover by the match against Pakistan (March 16).

Someone has already pointed it out in this forum, swing is related to the conditions/weather. It will swing more from Friday as it will start to rain. Forecast is not as good as other part of the world, so it could be a day or two early or late. If it's rainy/cloudy, there won't be any dew either.

The problem is that if it rains against associates then they will have advantage in curtailed version. If our fate in playing the main rounds depends on 10 overs a side match, we are doomed.

Holland made the qualifier final and now have Tom Cooper back,who was not there,and you want to rest Mustafizur so he can play for ireland who came 5th i think in the qualifiers?

Seen some pictures. Boys looked like already forgot about Asia cup final and looked happy taking selfies after landing in Dhramshala. Good to see they are still in joyous mindset reaching asia cup final alone in this format is a big win for us. People have to remember its t20 format not ODI And we have to have expectations a bit low/grounded in this format and don't expect too much.

I'm glad the plays look fresh focused on the task ahead. We must keep moving forward lots of work to be done, ahead.
