Mash'a'Allah. Bit worried about his work load now. Going to try go down and watch him at some point. Think for a youngster his age. Away support will be humbling. Let me know closer during time if anyone else wants to join me

Sussex have signed Mustafizur Rahman, the Bangladesh left-arm pace bowler, as their second overseas signing for 2016. Mustafizur, who has made a scintillating start to his international career, is set to play T20 and 50-over cricket for Sussex.
Quote:
"I am very excited to get an opportunity in county cricket," Mustafizur said. "It has always been an ambition of mine to play in England and I am thankful to Sussex for this opportunity. I hope I can repay the faith they have shown in me with my performances on the field."
Quote:
Sussex's head coach, Mark Davis, said: "I am really excited to have Mustafizur join us at Sussex. He is a cricketer with incredible ability and is currently one of the bright young talents of world cricket. His unorthodox bowling variations make him a very difficult customer to bat against, and he will be a brilliant addition to our team."

Really happy for him.. Congrats. Probably best thing happened to him so far.. Would have love to see him play some longer version match though instead of t20s.

Well done Mustafiz on your first contract in England
I haven't been following Natwest T20 blast but it gives me more reasons to follow it this season

Why does he needs to learn English? Can't he have a translator? Plenty of Bangladeshis in the UK.

Great news. Good to see his performance not going unnoticed.

A pacer with an econ rate less than 6 is incredible specially when he bowls in the pp and death overs

Amazing news, he can learn a lot in England on those pitches perfect for swing and seam bowling.

He will become the first Bangladesh international to play for Sussex.

"He is a cricketer with incredible ability and is currently one of the bright young talents of world cricket," Sussex head coach Mark Davis said.

"His unorthodox bowling variations make him a very difficult customer to bat against, and he will be a brilliant addition to our team."

Mustafizur, who has taken 27 wickets in 20 T20 matches at an average of 16.11 and has an economy rate of 5.66 runs an over, will also be eligible to play for Sussex in the One-Day Cup.

Dont worry about the work load. He only has to bowl 4 overs in a game. He is young, he needs the experience. This will be valuable experience for the champions trophy next year.

Nice! I would much rather have him play in England, rather than in UAE. I just imagine the floor crawling with bookies in UAE. Probably not true, but there is that stigma.

Though by hanging around with Mash, I'm sure M'Fizur is not tempted by greed and is well counseled already to avoid bookies.

Some one on the sideline? Am sure they can have most the inportant talks and plans with him prior to going into the field.

Jokes aside. Yes, he does need to learn some English. I'm sure from now and till then, he will pick up some basic stuffs. But ATM he needs not worry about English classes, we have the qualifying round of the WorldT20 coming up first thing first.
