Ed Joyce 160*. Ireland 265/5

Afghanistan replying to the target are 28/3 in the 11th.

Ed Joyce came back determined after that dubious incident. Irish should get a 2-2 draw.

Weldone Ireland. A 2-2 got them closer to Zim. No ranking change though. Afghans fall back a little. All three teams very close from each other. Afghans 10 (49), Zim 11 (46), Ireland 12 (43).

Dropping Paul Stirling down the order opened the gate for Joyce. I would have preferred to send in Stirling at #3, he's a free flowing batsman and gets the scorecard turning over with the runs.

Agreed, shouldve been banned but Afghanistan get favourable treatment, first with the racial abuse incident and now this. Time to move on.

Chase and McCarthy have been excellent this series, very pleased there. Batting is a worry, again the big hitters never really hit big, and again we relied mostly on the contributions of a senior batsman, yes we're weakened with injuries but still, was hoping Poynter would put his hand up, maybe now he's playing in his more natural position at 7 will help.

You may learn to bat, bowl and field well, and occasionally perform, but without honesty, self-dignity and even a slight hint of morals you are no cricketer - just plain old garbage. What a shame!
