A well directed back of a length ball finally gets Prithvi out. Aussies have not been bowling those enough and feeding him fuller balls for some reason.

Pope just dropped a straight forward catch...Sutherland is like a mix between Starc and Hazlewood?

Waugh Jr does not seem to be much of a pacer. Is he in the team as an allrounder?

Another catch dropped, by Ralston. Edwards minimized the loss by taking the catch on his next ball while he was still at his follow through

Is Waugh Jr a fan of Fizz? Has been bowling lots of cutters.

Sangha's captaincy has been poor. With experience playing at higher levels, you would expect him to marshal his main bowlers better. When Shaw was driving his pacers so well, it should have been intuitive to ask the pacers to hold back their lengths.
Using so many part timers did not help either.

I would rather face Aus in QF, even though we managed to beat India in the Asia Cup. India's batting look much stronger with Shaw and Gill added.

I am impressed with Indian pacers - they're fast and also extracting better bounce from the pitch! Pretty solid skill-wise too!
Looks like Pakistan lost the bragging rights for producing the best batch of pacers in the subcontinent!

The Indian keeper is pretty crappy though, couple of wickets should have been down already otherwise.

This Indian team is nothing like the one faced in Asia Cup. That team was missing half the players!

We already heard of Shaw before. Find of the tournament for me will be Nagarkoti. His bowling action is just a thing of beauty!

We need to take care of them and make sure they don't fade away or lose pace, years of investment finally bearing fruits. Also 145+ u19 level means they are genuine 150+ prospects.

Only issue with Nagarkoti is that he is relatively short. Dada (commenting on the match) was not all that excited about Nagarkoti. He was more interested in tall and strong looking Mavi.

Too many allrounders, missing batsmen like Harvey, and not enough specialist bowlers.
