Hmmm, mosa not a t20 player, even Liton should probably specialise with the 50 overs and tests (at least until he's established internationally).

Don't know if sabbir and soumya should've been picked, I guess if anything this is their format (especially sabbir) but both are highly inconsistent.

Why's Soumya there? So Zakir gets one game and can't get another chance where as SS gets free rides for 2 years..

BCB were never gonna drop Sabbir after his innings against India in Nidahas Trophy.

Mosaddek is the only question in the squad for me. He is not a T20 player. Would have preferred Anamul instead of him. Not a bad squad otherwise.

Good to see that they dropped Trashkin Ahmed and Imrul KaEdge.

not sure, what mosaddek did all of a sudden that they recall him

anamul and mithun ali was more consistent in this format in BPL

soumya and sabbir still getting free ride, hope they can show some performances

Why is Liton Das given chance after chance? He isn't good enough for Limited Over Internationals and should be rather given the chance to open in tests with Tamim. Should have given Zakir one more chance to open in T20s. Also, Sakrar should be dropped and an actual allrounder (like Saifuddin) used instead of him.

Sabir got 77 against India. He definitely earned it and not free riding anything.

I think Liton showed some good potential in the Nidahas Trophy. That is why BCB went with him. I would rather play him than Soumya at this point.

Liton is in good form in every format. I hope soumya sit out and ariful get chance

Why people talk abt Zakir. He played one or 2 good innings in BPL that's it. He needs more consistency like Mithun or anamul

Strong squad. Mosaddek maybe a Shakib call. Remember during BPL, Shakib used Mosaddek off spin.. (it was effective, bowled decent). Gives us another option with the ball.

his 43 against Sri Lanka was exactly the impetus Bangladesh needed to kickoff that 214 mammoth run chase.

Yeah, but after that he really failed and got out easily. He really doesn't seem consistent enough to be a good LOI player.

The final xi will be very close to the one that played the Nidahas trophy final. The chief selector said that Miraz is not fully fit and that's why they kept Mosaddek as a backup.
