A good match this is shaping up to be. Batsmen have to dig in and fight in old-fashioned test cricket way.
Not expecting a 400 score, but could have got 250 of they played properly, they are now, excellent fight back, lot of balls on leg were not being clipped away yesterday early on

Aklemalp, please tell your WI team to whitewash BD. If we win the series, we may be stuck with the seniors and management till the next 4-5 years..

Go Windies!

Understand where you're coming from...but look at this from the situation Windies were in. When you're down four wickets for nothing, you tend to be more defensive, circumspect. This can be a disadvantage since scoring is stagnated. That's why they had to play the way the did.

I'd give SL a 50-run lead. Anything over that is bonus. They do have the batting to get past the Windies score.

I wish I had that much direct connection with our boys (except for my childhood friend and former clubmate, Bishoo). Windies are giving us a new brand of test cricket. I wish we only play test cricket and scrap the other two.

Very true, but

The keeper played with the right approach yesterday

Which seniors don't you think should be in the team and who would you replace them with?

Its not about replacement at this stage we need to give young players some time to even, to acclimatize to international conditions, and face top level teams.

If we lose matches with young guns such as Shanto, It will be better than losing matches with experienced heavy weights such as Tamim,Shak and Mushfiq.

Lets face this, there is no way the solid 5 will ever win us a WC. There time is coming very soon. And when it comes, we need their replacements to assimilate smoothly into international cricket.

Windies need to go for the kill here! Even though its a low score Lankans will have more difficulty batting in the final innings

So your idea is get battered with youngsters rather than be competitive with older players.... Mmm I wonder why we've never went with a all young team before... Ah wait we have, alas you didn't watch those games where young players were chewed out and burnt out from being thrown in their with lions to early

But I agree players like shanto should be given a chance, but not instead of the seniors, instead of younger players who are not performing and not showing the right attitude like Sabbir

Shannon Gabriel breaks the ppartnership. Roshen Silva the batsmen dismissed.

SL are still 86 runs behind with 4 wickets in hand
