Just read how Liton Das got out.

He has gone back to his old roots where has no clue whats going on. He needs to recover from this hole as he is the only mid level senior who will need to keep the team going forward.

I see couple of you guys saying the seniors needs to retire. Let's say all 4 quits tomorrow. Who exactly in the pipeline is putting their hands up? It's not like they didn't try new guys. They came , did jack and got benched again. Our country may have a huge population, but have garbage talent waiting in the pipeline. Almost in every match, it's these washed out seniors that are still bailing us out. I honestly don't know wtf will bd team will do without the seniors (espacially shakib)

Afif was another player who seemed to have good prospects. But the usual Bangladeshi curse, he is fading away.

Cant wait to see Ebadaot salutes , although I suspect after he is bashed around the ball park.

IMO he is not an ODI type bowler based on what I have seen.

This is going to be a "WHITE" wash in every sense of the meaning. So much for Bangla washes

The bar is too low. Those playing in the national team are inconsistent. Those getting call ups into the national team are failing to perform. The average and strike rate of the national team players itself tells the whole story. Not enough to be a top side. So this kind of performance is expected.

Butler has learnt from Bangladeshi batsman how to get out at the wrong time of the game, particularly being a wicket keeper and close to their backsides

Even though we are almost there, Ebadot keeps leaking runs. This is why he aint a good ODI bowler yet.

There is a reason Ebadot is brought into the side. He has pace and picks up wickets.

Man give the king back his number 3 position. He deserves it. No need for all these faltu half *** 50 playing at #3. Man could have made a century today had he came in sooner

Contrary to rumor, Hathuru didn't bench Afif for the last match, or handed debut to Hridoy in a high pressure match. Kudos to Hathuru!

Now we can say Afif got a fair trial, he isn't a good fit for #6-7 positions, not against top teams. Hridoy should get his international debut in the T20I series. Based on his performance there, maybe can consider him to replace Afif at #7 at Ireland ODI series.

A good analysis by Sami how Tamim is still not getting his front foot stretch right - he keeps going back and forth between over stretching (making him LBW suspect) and under stretching (making him bowled suspect). IMO, this is another indication that Siddons should be replaced as the batting coach.

He hasn't been performing that well in No.3 position recently. As an allrounder I think No.5 is a good position. No.3 is filled with top class batsmen in all of the other teams. It's just that our batting is so bad we had to put an allrounder there.

Our 6-8 consist of Mahmudullah, Afif, and Mehidy. Yeah, Afif has not been able to prove himself there.

We need to play lot more ODIs this year to really shore up batting lineup and bowling lineup.

We just wasted a vital home series against England on crappy pitches. Rest of our matches before Asia Cup are against Ireland and Afghanistan. We may get a home series against NZ before World Cup, which probably will be wasted on crappy pitches as well.

So, most likely scenario going forward - our batters will live in the glory next few months how good they look against Ireland and AFG. Then they will have a disappointing Asia Cup as usual. Then it will be followed by 'confidence boosting' home series against NZ, which will be followed by another disappointing World Cup.

Maybe not to the 2019 WC mark, but he hasn't done poorly either. Who would you honestly bank your money on? Not saying Shanto didn't do a decent job but it needs to go to Shakib. We would have had a better score with him in top of the order vs coming at 5 and running out of partners. And this is becoming a trend. Same happened during the other match where he scored 60 odd.

Shakib is the only player currently who can bat at multiple positions. I think his batting style will suit him the number 3 position. Bangladesh need quick starts. If he can cash in and face many deliveries he will find ways to score quickly.

Liking how harsh and realistic Isam from espncricinfo is with his articles.

But BCB has a skin thicker than Rhinos when it comes to media criticism.

I feel with some of the loss of interest for Bangladesh international cricket from local fans has also taken some of the heat away from the BCB and players.

I remember when the team would play crap internationally, there would be some fans waiting at the airport with placards. The funniest is when Asharful got quite angry reading a fans sign.
