Match is probably nearly over or over by now. I guess we'll have to wait a few hours to hear any sort of a media update.
There matches are not List A are they?

I feel a little bit shakey..!
because this SRI practice team is actualy their 3rd level team..consisting of very unknown players of the country.
their National team is in the tournament and A-team is on tour to England.. so they had to make a 3rd grade team.
29 run victory sounds bit too close!
anyway... congrats for the victory
n congrats to Ash n Faisal both..
My Evaluation:
#BD shud hav scored nearly 300 runs if not more than that.
#Shud hav been able to bowl out the opponent!!!
#Shudn't hav let them score above 200.. or atleast hav a 50 runs victory
anyway... wishing better luck and more convincing wins next time!!

Well done, boys
In the next practice match the target should be as follows:
~ +300 if batting first
~ taking full advantage of 15 overs restriction and hitting 90-100 runs
~ at least one century and as many 50's from our top and middle order
~ bowl the opponent all out
I also want the team management to play Alok Kapali for the next 2 practice matches.

Just win the PRACTICE match without targetting a certain goal or two to achieve in different field? What on earth is the use of a practice match then? Now give me a break!!

but win the match convincingly also...!!
i support Navarene completely..
because thats wht practice matches are for.... trying to get the best practice... without tension!!
actually close or non-convincingly winning matches against weaker 3rd grade opponents will only giv more confidence to our real Opponents in coming tournament...

There we are, at it again - being over-analytical !
Sigh ! Repeated over-statement of the obvious.

when did bangladesh last time win against a selection from a test playing nation? I think not many times. I will be very happy if they do not lose any of the first 4 matches. Still I am not sure they will ... I do not mind an ugly win but want to see them winner. It is always nice to see some of our main batsmen are getting big ton.

Over-analytical or not, this is what a discussion forum all about...a place to discuss, analyse, share thoughts and views on a certain topic or issue. Now take it as it is, or depart.

BD always plays s****y, during practice matches...remember b4 WC 2004 we lost one match to namibia...practice matches dont mean anything as far as our team goes...however it shows that ash is in form and can open.
