just due to a few stupid writers, the whole country does not become bad.

there is nothing called as "elite 8" now. teams like west indies are by no stretch of imagaination, a "elite 8" team.

there is no guarantee that this "elite 8" team will be "elite 8" forever whoknows, maybe after 10 years, a team like scotland can come out nowhere and be in the top 5 or maybe a team like england can slip to no. 15 or so.

this "elite 8" is just a stupid way of kepping cricket just with a few nations. globalizing cricket is the right way. in football, there are enough teams from each continent to hold competitions like euro, copa america, asia cup, etc., but incricket, there arent too many teams to hold a euro cup or a africa cup.
