Writing and reading poetry is a way to get in touch with your inner feelings about the emotions. poetry spans emotions from hate and despair to admiration and adulation. I hope we all enjoy the poems offered by every1.

Since you are the only one who has posted poems in the thread, so Tintin is asking you to credit the author if you have copied it from somewhere. Or his question is too difficult to comprehend for you ?

Is it that your first poem wasn't written by Alice Fulton, but just that you coincidentally wrote exactly a same one like her "About Face"?

To anyone posting poems/articles by other writers

If you do so you are violating copyright issues. Don't do it. There are many people who do not regulary read poems everyday. If no sources are added we assume that you have written it and will complement you; if someone else has written it you are deceiving the forum and the moderators and appropriate action will be taken.

I doubt though that there is anyone courageous enough to post their own poetry.... I hear there are many thieves in this forum...

A poem anyway I shall offer.

Nishy You Are
Nishy you have a boys name though you are a girl,
Seeing your name on these threads makes my blood curl,
I wish there was a way to tell you how I really feel,
Your posts are comical and at times I think are they real?
They must be real, but perhaps without much point,
Nishy what have you been up to? Smoking a joint????
Everytime I read forget cricket and I see your name,
The jokes that you wrote, I think were pretty lame,
Maybe you should think once or twice before you write,
Why with the moderators are you always picking a fight?
So to Nish I say again, have a good day and good night!

hey this the poem i like the most

SHEEP DOGS
watch her sheep dogs run the flock
can't find their eyes
but they always know just where to be
when to be there
keep each other posted with anxious yips
the sheep are dumb as billiard balls
easy to bank off the pasture fence
they work routinely
three ball combinations through the gate
it's their specialty
except for politicians
nothing else here can make a good living
from idle posturing

hey unknown creature do not write poems about me ( i know boys likes to write poems about girls plz stop it ) just come here and pst some good poems to make the readers and Moderators happy

He plagiarizes unabashedly and when found out, he acts dumb and questions the moderator. I do not think the fellow is as dumb as he is acting out.

well that poem was written by me Bangla Mostan....this was written spontaneously to prevent any problems from escalating between our fellow members..and to lighten up the ever present tension which I mysle can feel....so lads and lassies...TAKE A CHILL-PILL!!!

i'm real horrible at bengali but i really wanted 2 wryt a bengali poem.. so thinkin abt sum1 spshl i came up wid dis... dont discourage.. just read...

i think there is a very good relation between poem and atlemi. it goes without saying that, not all atel's are poem reader, but all poem readers are atel.

anyway, this was not a sign of atlemi since i was reading a book and the poem was there. i forgot the name of the book and writer and all, only 2 lines i remember:

ki shundor josona raati,
akashetay uritasay ak jhak buno hati.
