Default Which college do you prefer?

I know there are many good college in BD, but what if you have only 2 choices, which 1 you will choose?
1 more thing.. if you're student of any of this institutes, can you specify which (HSC) batch?

there was Shamim Azad too, & the other Madam i forget her name though, she used to teach us The gift of the magi by W somerset maughm. .....that was really funny.

i've pretty much same experience like u in dhaka college. there was this biology madam during who's class the big galary classroom used to be full. students from other sections as well as arts an commarce students used to come to attend the class. well, she was not a great teacher by any means. but she was pretty enough to attrack all those students

Proud ex-student of Dhaka college here. This thread brings back memories of those golden days. We used to feel like a bunch of intractable notorious Dhaka college gangsta yet brilliant and intellectual in terms of study.

I remember my "calf-love" for gorgeous Ruksana madam, the way my adolescene heart had a heavy crush on this economics teacher that each time she used to step into the class, I always had adrenalin creeping down my tummy. Silly!

Spot on! I experienced this scenarion too. During our days, it was mostly from Dhaka City college students who rush to come to our college only to listen to the delightful agitated chapabajis of Syed sir.

As a Notre Damian, I know for sure, its the best. I still thank Notre Dame for helping me become who I am today. I had spent some time in Dhaka College, it is no competition to Notre Dame at all. The results that Dhaka College makes, is totally another issue, has nothing to do with how good the college is.

I refuse to participate to this poll, because there is only two choice. Its like you have to choose between BAL and BNP (and no Jamat or Ershad Party)

Even though they are ok, I think Kalaroa Government College of Satkhira much better. Beacuse it has more fancy name. Going to college was always like drinking 'Corollar Juice' and this this college sound like that.

For all the NotreDamians onboard... do u guys know that our beloved college is on top of every other college for the last few years in terms of RESULT also?!!

Specially from after the recent change in HSC Exam system (They adopted CGPA grading system) NDC is really far far ahead in position even from the 2nd best college in BD terms of Discipline, Acaemic Quailty and Result !!

NDC to all the other colleges in BD is currently like AUSTRALIA to all the other Cricket-teams in the world!!

Sounds like I need to open a thread just to document who is from NDC and what batch.

Who knows, we may find some old batch mates here.

was typing a response...don't know where it went but DC was the single biggest waste of time in my life. 2 years and I did not learn a thing in the building. Learnt plenty at the tutors - zaman sir, etc - but not one useful thing in the college itself. Yes, faki baji, fotka baji, and some other stuff like burning buses because people didn't like the charana price hike, etc. We didn't even have a promotion test after first year. Bhalo lagi ni, porikkha keno dibo. Someone went across the street, bought some shosta talas and locked up the exam halls, Baas, kisher porikkha, you're promoted. Classroom -e mat theke goru ene bendhe rakha, etc. Paid TK 25 for my marksheet and a fake transcript with Principal Noman's signature, and thought I paid too much at that time. How much does it cost now?

probably the only good thing were some of the professors - not their fault we never had classes...
and some good friends to this day...

yeah, dhaka college was great....

my experience with dhaka college: i was in 2nd year of HSC without knowing when the test occured. they promoted everyone. then, i strated to study. of my own and with private tutors of course. attended only 3 classes (not even 3 days) off my whole 2nd years of study. where did the time go? well, there was this steps (like stairs) of new market where we used to feel at home. playing cards at the canteen, helping out friends in front of eden garder(!) to score sixes.

but hey, the result was not that bad, if i would stay in NDC would not do any better as all the school friends who went there was below me in terms of result and total number (some of the them was above me in SSC). so, i'd prefer DC as i'd two years of endless fun without having to worry about any rules and regulations and staff.

btw, we used to called the friends there that they study in a "kindergarder college" because of the rules and regulations.
