Default Best Eid TV program 2009

I haven't watched much. Please let us know which one was your best program this year.

Mine: R TV, today: "Acoustic shondha".

I watched today three great musicians lightup the whole Eid program. It was live and they stayed on till 3am BD time.

Partho
Haider Hossain
Bappa.

All three had only a guitar. Simply wow!! Those who missed, missed a big one. Haider Hossain is just too good. He alone can take the spot light and ... Some of his songs were so powerful couldn't stop my tears rolling down.

Had few other solo guitarist of BD call in as well. It was great to hear Agun's voice. He whistled "kano ei nish shoggota" and requested Partho to sing that one. Everyone requested so many different songs. It was over 3 hours. Time passed by so fast.

I watched it for few seconds when Partho was singing Hyder's "Ami Faissa Gesi".
Didn't bother to watch more as Partho was there. Hate his music!!!

He was the weakest link. Schooled by HH at times. Actually anyone and everyone will be schooled by HH. At one point both Partho and Bappa could not keep up with HH and stoped playing and started enjoying the song. However, to Partho's defense, it is very difficult to sing his songs with just guitars. He do not possess the God gifted voice but he makes up some with effort. Souls were never my band. Renaissa and Feedback all the way.

HH lost his mother day before yesterday. Inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi rajiun. May he and his family have patience in this tried times. Partho giving tribute to his Mom at the every end was very touchy.

Souls with Nakib, Tapan, Nasim Ali and Bachchu (and previously Biswajit) was the best. Partho's take over was to maintain continuation like the way Warfaze is continued. I was in Class 9 or 10 when I first watched Partho in Seaman's Hostel, CTG. I was a teen and this guy was playing all my favorite song with ease in guitar. That was a frivolous night. Everyone of Message became my hero for few hours.

I also enjoyed the RTV prgrm with Partho,Bappa & HH. It was good.
Didn't watch ittadi yet.
But the best eid natok so far to me are "jokhon brishti namlo" & "pother baake".
For eid prgrms go to Bdbangla;bengaliguru;amarnatok etc.

I am extremely sorry to say that I was only able to watch and capture only the last two songs of the program as I was busy watching the cricket match between Pakistan & India in Champions Trophy. Later I really felt very depressed and guilty as I missed the program. I will upload the last song by Hayder Hossain "Faisha Gesi" tonight.
