Ash read the pitch condition properly, took 3 seamers into the match, leaving Enamul out. And the seamers actually took 3-4 wickets in the first session, the umpires did not give genuine outs. Yes, definitely a seamer's pitch, even 'til the last over. It must be a hard surface. I have not seen that kind of bounce on a Bangladeshi pitch ever before. Some of them went way over the batsman's head for extra runs.

So, how did Sakib got his wickets? The ball was turning very little. He continually bowled high, looping deliveries on length. This was getting him whatever turn that was possible and kept the batsmen guessing. But the killer was his Rafique-like Arm balls. Straight, and a lot faster. The arm balls were not even very well hidden. Looked to me that Mahela read the arm ball, but his adjustment was a bit slow. Sakib's "medium pacers" did the trick, not the spin.

It was wonderful to watch, along with Sakib's fine fielding efforts. He is just maturing with every match.

only thing ash did bad i think was bringing in rajib a little late and at one time he had one pace bowler bowling who was tired. he needed to change the three in 3/4 overs instead of 8/9 overs... mash was not effective on his 7-8-9 overs where i thought rajib could have bowled and since alam was slow bowler he could bowl his 9 overs

Today weather has cleared a lot.I hope play will start in time ie 0930 bd time.we have to get rid of Vaas early,otherwise he will pay us.
