Presumably, you are talking about the second innings. Otherwise, why would you send Ashraful at No.7 ? If he is not good enough to bat , say, in the top 5, then the experienced should be shown the door until they learn to play for the team and country.

Well MUllah did bat extremely well and nothing to take away from him, but we will lose at the end and his ton will go down as a positive from this match.

And

(infinite) x (positives) << Win

This should be the batting order in my opinion. At least by this Shakib can ensured that at least Riyad or Mushy will ease the pressure off to some extent.

What is Rock doing lately? He is wetting his pant out there.

Mahmudullah is as good batsman as Shakib and Rahim if not better. There are 4 batsman in our team are productive in a consistent basis.

Mahmudullah
Shakib
Rahim
and Tamim.

Rest of the batsman are just filler. We need 3 more Mahumdullah in our team we will be fine afterwards.

very well played Riyad, deserves all the compliments and congratulations...

but I hope, we keep 'these' under check... we have seen how our 'support' & emotions exalted our players to stardom before they came crashing down so atleast this time wanna give Riyad a better chance to go up...

I know Riyad will suceed cuz his temperament is just so different than the 'bunch' and I wish he keeps playing his own game ...

Liked him ever since he came into the limelight (which I think was against South Africa at home - possibly for a local XI for a practice game). Loved the way he rotated the strike with great ease lower down the order. Sure, that was a one day game, but how many of our players could come in and score fast straight away without getting out so late in the inning back then, that too by just rotating the strike?

And of course, when he got dropped he went on to score four centuries in a domestic season. No joke - so called batsmen like Aftab father five new children before they manage a century in the NCL. A good find, but will be interesting to see how he fares in bouncy conditions against the moving ball.

Actually I dont think he played with the tailenders well. Naeem is one who really plays well with tailenders.

But the innings was a master class no doubt.

Really? Why do you think that?

Reminded me of Rana batting. Knowing his limitation, concentrating on the task on hand and applying himself as if his life depends on it. Yes, a gem of an innings.

I was going to sleep after 8 down; but for some reason kept watching and watching. Riyad was just amazing in his approach. The way he kept taking boundaries in early part of the over and single and later part showed extraordinary control of this situation. Other day Sachin was doing this with indian tail in the 1st innings of first test. Hats off to Riyad, keep on showing the top order how to bat in tests.
