Diwali greetings to all BC family members!
May there be peace, love and harmony in the world and among all living beings!

Sort of... it's called Dipabali, and it's Kali Puja that is celebrated on 30th Ashwin, in place of the Lakshmi Puja that is seen in most of India and Nepal.

Yesterday was his birthday.

My GF decorated my apartment with diyas, paper lanterns and rangoli, now I gotta move my a$$, go out and do some fireworks

Do Bangladeshi hindus celebrate this? I know hindus in Sylhet, but never heard of them celebrating this. If it has changed then. Happy festival day to all BD hindus.

I dont think I've seen it either. But I think Kali Puja is also around this time, which is significant holiday.
