A must see for those who enjoyed the first two LOTR.
Peter Jackson did a fabulous job.
Please don't read if you haven't seen it yet, not a spoiler but ..
It's a little too long and they could have shed about an hour or so. They could have left some of it for the extended DVD release.
I personally thought Sam and frodo just needed to get a room, sorry about that but I was getting tired with all the touchy feely moments.

Plan to see it during sometime this week.
On a side note, the tenents who used to live in our house ordered Two Towers DVD before moving out. It came last month. But they already moved out by then. I didn't open it and hoped they would drop by to pick up. But month went by and no one came. We don't have their new address either. So finally I caved in, realizing they would never come, opened the dvd. Watched movie and was totally taken by the experience. I watched LOTR:Fellowship also, but didn't like it that much. But Two Towers was great. DTS track was pulse pounding! Great experience. I thank our past tenant for ordering it for ME!

hey nasif, can't believe you didn't just put a "Moved" on that DVD package and returned it via USPS!!
are any of you guys Risk players - we got the LOTR Risk game and it is a lot more fun than the old Risk. They have an empire of merchandise around this movie - Monopoly, Trivial Pursuit, the whole works. Plus there are more Tolkien books about Middle Earth than the 3 in this series - my son is really into it and was explaining the details of forging swords in Middle Earth the other day...

oh and we checked out the X-Box game when my son's friend brought it over last weekend. I didn't play it but it looked pretty decent. They did the same thing as the Matrix game - included movie footage shot especially for the video game.

Rafiq bhai, when it came it was lying on the floor for many days. After a while I brought it home and waited for the old tenents to show up. I didn't know it was DVD inside. From outside of the package you can't tell what's inside. They never showed up and I had to open it check out what it was. That was when I found out that it was LOTR dvd. Even then I didn't open the shrink wrap for many more days.
If I see them any time in future I will give it to them.

XBOX is the way to go. Best thing that mr. gates ever came up with. PS2 is ancient dino, already fossil.
My XBOX is modded and it is on my home network. Plays all my media files on the TV, ie. divx, xvid, mpg, mp3 every format on this planet. XBOX Media player is the best
